About
Ser Jorryn is a precision platformer built around the simplicity of classic arcade gameplay—what you see is what you get. No upgrades, no hidden tricks. Running and jumping are your only weapons, backed by modern responsive controls because not all things were better in the ’80s.
Navigate tight corridors, moving and crumbling platforms, spike traps, and all the elements that shaped platformers in the heydays of arcade. Quick deaths, instant respawns, and focused levels keep the arcade loop alive: run, jump, die horribly, repeat.
You play as Ser Jorryn, a knight stripped of his weapons and locked in a cursed dungeon by his drunken uncle, who bribed a witch to fill the place with horrors. Escape the depths and exact the ultimate vengeance—claim the right to betroth your niece, as was the custom at the time.

• Arcade-inspired, skill-first platforming.

• Handcrafted levels which will gradually test your skills.
• Knockback-based enemies that turn mistakes into chaos.

This game seems great so far! Controls felt a little weird at first - you slide after moving, and you fall very differently in a short vs long jump - but I'm getting used to it and really enjoy it! As others have said, it's amazing how much has been accomplished in this game using such simple controls and graphics. Also, it's hard XD I would highly recommend you pick it up at this price, just a couple bucks to have a good time and support another great indie dev!
Fun game. It can get frustrating though.
ITS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARD. It is a good game tho

Does what it says on the tin. Nice little platformer.
Simple and polished game, delivers exactly what it promises
Wat een super gaaf spel. WOW:))
I die all the time which I suspect is the devs intention. But... sometimes I manage to get in front of an enemy and they launch me further. Take that, dev! Still feels like winning :D
Little gem of a game this
1200+ deaths... moments of rage. The game is fun! The sloppy movement and precision turn into an expertise. Nothing is too cheap but there are some jumps that make you want to quit. 5.7 hours to finish, but I bet some can be faster, and bet more that some will be slower... Thinking of running through again to see if I can do it in less deaths. Highly recommend.
You can tell a game is good when every time it makes you angry you become more determined to beat it. Beat the game with 740 deaths, at least 200 of which definitely weren't my fault. :) The other 500? Skill issue.
