Exating, intense rhythm, racing, and adventure!
Seems not that bad but keeps crashing when using fullscreen mode. Plays a bit like Audiosurf or Guitar Hero where you pick on notes by pressing corresponding buttons. Game gets a bit confusing when you get to the sliding using thumbsticks on your controller. Move left joystick to align with orange path and right one to align with teal path. Your ship doesn't change lanes so you're only pressing buttons and ship do some flips when it's correct. Story mode might engage you a bit but not that much. Music is good. nothing to complain here. Visuals are a bit minimalistic but that's ok. From many great rhythm games you might check this one out for its novelty but I would suggest going with the great classics especially for some decent music.
Why isn't anyone playing this. Can somebody play this? Ideally lots of people? Maybe thousands? It rewired my brain and made me hold a controller in a way I've never held it before. I was seeing strings and ♥♥♥♥ man. It's FREE dude just PLAY IT.
I play this when I have nothing better to do and I love it. It's satisfying once you have gotten onto the hardest difficulty and are actually able to play well. If you like rhythm games you might as well try it out since it's free. The community page has some nice additional songs to play around with if you get bored of the ones they have. Speaking of the songs, they are all really good and I truly love listening to their originals as well as the ones selected from small (but talented) artists.
"SEQUENCE STORM" is described by the developer as a free-to-play action, rhythm, and racing game. The story follows a down-on-his-luck engineer who becomes a "daemon" working for megacorporations in a futuristic setting where speed is key. Race opponents on increasingly winding tracks, using rhythm-based controls to boost speed and power, and special abilities to outmaneuver competitors. This is a ridiculously embellished distortion of the truth; For starters, this is NOT free. In reality this is an incredibly weak ripoff of Guitar Hero but with worse controls, worse graphics, worse gameplay, and music so bad your ears will immediately shut down and your oesophagus will leap up your throat and try to strangle your brain to put you out of your misery if you accidentally hear any of it. It's that bad. I'd say this is like Guitar Hero from Temu, but Temu has some standards. But stuff on Temu is way cheaper than this "game". In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. But where this game gets "fun" is just how ridiculously delusionsal the developer was, and how incredibly greedy, in pricing this as a bizarre cash grab. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $17 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even after that, this still isn't really free as you're expected to pay up more money... an INSANE amount, FIFTY SIX UNITED STATES DOLLARS to unlock content/DLC so you can keep playing. This is deceptive, misleading and somewhat unethical practice, putting hidden or inobvious pricing on a non-free product. So, overall the "developer" of this garbage Guitar Hero ripoff, at peak, had their hands out for a more-than-AAA $73 USD for this crap. What a joke. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

It's a great game. Difficult af, but I don't come from any other rythm games, only geometry dash, so that maybe the reason.
