Sentinels

This is [b]Rob Elam[/b]'s game, and he did [b]One Must Fall 2097[/b], so I thought I should try this one. It turned out to be satisfying all around! Turret won't reach enemies? Turn yourself into that one then FLY AND SHOOT!! And [i]this[/i] is why it's the best turret defense I've ever played, it's so satisfying all around. [b]I highly recommend to play Story Mode first, because you [i]will[/i] need the tutorial, otherwise no way you'll get it.[/b] It feels a bit discontinued and it feels super pre-alpha, but I hope this game to succeed. :)

once you start to get the hang of it, its really fun!....well made game...keep up the good work!

я не знаю, кто решил этой игре сделать цену 10.59 долларов. я б ее и за 0.79 не взял. скучно, убого, однообразно. через пол часа уже надоела. озвучка ужасна. графика 2003 года. все мрачное. депрессивная игра. не рекомендую

Fun hybrid of FPS/TD.

The game is already polished at this early stage of development, and the developers are open and responsive to community feedback. I can easily recommend this to tower defense fans, and fans of horde based shooters like Serious Sam or Earth Defense Force will find a lot to like here as well. I could easily see myself sinking many hours into this game, and would recommend to anyone who enjoys tower defense or strategy first person shooters because this is not a shoot 'em up game.

https://youtu.be/yXn-s0WBswA So far Ive found Sentinels has all those classic Tower Defense elements like regular towers and activatable special towers you can strategically control from above. With a nice gimmick of being able to hop INTO your towers and blast enemies directly. Thus giving you indirect and direct control over all aspects of your little mercenary defense force. Taking direct control of your towers seems like a nice alternative to manually assigning different towers a role. Like telling one to shoot slow moving enemies, and another to focus on faster ones. With Sentinels you can just hop into a tower, kill that particularly annoying enemy, then hop back out and be on your merry way. Its really just going to come down to your own perosnal preference. But I found this to be a sound and enjoyable tower defense / FPS hybrid game. Would recommend.

In Sentinels steckt auf jeden Fall mehr drin, als man erwartet. Anfangs dachte ich: "He, Tower Defense mit FPS, wird bestimmt lustig." Doch von Mission zu Mission werden immer mehr Features freigeschaltet und man muss sich wirklich mit den ganzen Möglichkeiten befassen. Das Spiel lädt zum tüfteln ein, zum Ausprobieren von neuen Upgrades und verschiedenen Strategien. Es ist mehr als ein "blindes aufrüsten" um am Ende immer zu gewinnen. Was mich beeindruckt, ist die Mischung aus Planung, Taktik und Action. Das funktioniert wirklich sehr gut, vor allem, da das Spiel noch in der Alpha ist. An ein paar Stellen sollte man momentan noch etwas frustresistent sein, aber das gehört einfach dazu.

This game does really well at taking two separate game genres and mixing them together. You have the TD (Tower Defence) side of the game and the FPS (First Person Shooter) side of the game and the two work together really well, overall this is a great game and is very unique, I recomend giving this game a try.
