11/10 Well, it's basically SotM with some powerful heroes, nd it uses SotM with expansions, including mods like the Cauldron, if You have it installed as well.
nice
if you enjoyed the first game its more or the same with new characters. So for me it's great and worth every penny.
While I would wait for a sale this is 100% worth it if you already have and love Sentinels of the Multiverse.
good decks, fun, nice music. I like it.
As a long time fan of Sentinels of the Multiverse, this was a welcome addition of content. The deck designs were all by Christopher Badell, co-creator of SotM in the first place and these decks are a fresh set of "base" game content - taking another look at some of the same comic hero archetypes as SotM but with their own spin (e.g. Tachyon and Johnny Rocket are both "Speedsters" but play sufficiently different that they don't step on each others toes in my opinion). While the game does require owning both SotM and SoEP on the same platform to cross-play the content, Handelabra's implementation is seamless and easy to use (I also own this on mobile where I have significantly more playtime and as with SotM, cross-platform play is also a breeze). Jean-Marc Giffen's work on the soundtrack is likewise stellar as always. The one downside I will note is that the lack of a singular artist across all content makes the non-card portraits for the characters a bit more hit-or-miss than SotM offered, but that's a minor quibble. If you liked the Enhanced Edition of Sentinels of the Multiverse, this is an easy recommendation.
Sentinels of Earth-Prime, developed and published by Handelabra Games Inc., is a cooperative digital card game that translates superhero team combat into a deep, strategy-driven tabletop-style experience. Built on the same mechanical foundation as Sentinels of the Multiverse but set within the Earth-Prime universe derived from the Mutants & Masterminds roleplaying setting, the game focuses on tactical synergy, villain encounters, and environment-driven challenges rather than real-time action. It is a game about coordination, planning, and mastering layered card interactions, all wrapped in a vibrant comic book aesthetic. At its core, Sentinels of Earth-Prime is a fully cooperative turn-based card battler. Players assemble a team of three to five heroes, each represented by a unique deck that defines their abilities, strengths, and playstyle. The heroes face off against a villain deck, while an environment deck adds additional effects that influence the battlefield. Every round unfolds in a structured sequence: villain phase, hero phase, and environment phase. This consistent rhythm gives the game clarity, but within that structure lies a remarkable amount of strategic depth. Each hero’s deck is distinct, often built around specific mechanics such as damage mitigation, area control, card manipulation, or buff stacking. Learning how these decks complement one another becomes central to success. One of the game’s strongest qualities is the way it encourages synergy. A well-coordinated team can chain effects together, amplifying damage, protecting allies, and neutralizing threats in elegant combinations. Some heroes excel at setting up others, while certain decks shine in specific matchups against particular villains. This means that no single strategy dominates across all scenarios. Instead, players are rewarded for adapting their lineup to the challenge at hand. The villains themselves are more than simple damage dealers; each has unique rules and escalating mechanics that can dramatically alter the flow of battle. Some focus on overwhelming minions, others on environmental control or disruptive effects that force players to rethink their approach. The environments add another dynamic layer. Rather than serving as static backdrops, they actively participate in the encounter, introducing hazards, benefits, or unpredictable events each round. An industrial setting might introduce damaging machinery, while a mystical realm may empower certain types of effects. This design ensures that even when replaying the same villain with the same heroes, the experience can feel different depending on environmental interactions. The combination of heroes, villain, and environment creates a modular system with high replay value. Presentation leans heavily into comic book styling. Character art is bold and colorful, reflecting the superhero theme without attempting cinematic realism. The interface is clean and informative, displaying card effects clearly and automating rule enforcement so players can focus on strategy rather than bookkeeping. Animations are functional rather than flashy, but they provide enough visual feedback to keep combat engaging. The soundtrack complements the tone without overpowering gameplay, reinforcing the heroic atmosphere while maintaining focus on tactical decision-making. The learning curve can be significant, especially for players unfamiliar with tabletop card systems. Card text can be dense, and understanding timing windows, triggers, and interactions requires attention. However, the digital format streamlines much of the complexity by automatically resolving effects in the correct order. This allows players to experiment and learn through play without worrying about misinterpreting rules. Over time, mastering the interplay between decks becomes deeply satisfying, particularly when a well-timed combo turns the tide of a difficult battle. Replayability is a defining strength. The base game includes a solid roster of heroes, villains, and environments, and expansions further expand the lineup. Unlockable variants add alternate abilities and strategic twists to familiar characters, encouraging experimentation. Because team composition dramatically influences playstyle, players can revisit encounters with entirely new tactical approaches. Whether playing solo by controlling multiple heroes or coordinating with friends in multiplayer sessions, the cooperative framework fosters both thoughtful planning and lively discussion. Sentinels of Earth-Prime does not focus on a narrative campaign in the traditional sense. Instead, its storytelling emerges from the confrontations themselves. Each villain encounter feels like a standalone comic book issue, with heroes banding together to stop a larger-than-life threat. This episodic design suits the genre well, emphasizing replayable tactical battles over linear story progression. Ultimately, Sentinels of Earth-Prime succeeds as a faithful and robust digital tabletop adaptation. It captures the essence of cooperative superhero strategy through layered card mechanics and thoughtful design. While it may not appeal to players seeking fast-paced action or cinematic storytelling, it excels as a cerebral, teamwork-driven card battler. For fans of strategic deck-based combat and comic-inspired universes, it offers a deep, replayable experience that rewards patience, coordination, and clever synergy. Rating: 7/10
Pretty good. Like the other game but with streamlined graphics.
Если у вас есть 2-3 друга, то это шикарная кооперативная игра с механиками кки. https://youtu.be/yYe0yd9l2MY
