About
“When you’re finally there for yourself… will you be able to shoulder it?”
Self-Indulgence is a PSX-style psychological horror game that drags you deep into a decaying world where memories rot and truth is a shifting shadow.
Guided only by fading memories and desperation, a father searches for his missing child—only to uncover something far more disturbing than he ever imagined. What begins as a rescue turns into a descent into the unknown.
🔸 Retro survival horror, reimagined – tank controls, fixed camera angles, gritty textures
🔸 A story-driven nightmare – every clue pulls you deeper
🔸 2 major free updates coming post-launch
🔸 No jumpscares. Just dread.
If you loved the eerie silence of Silent Hill, the tension of Resident Evil, and the mystery of Lost, you’re going to feel right at home—and very, very uncomfortable.
Are you ready to remember what you’ve tried to forget?

Reviews
The most confused I've been since puberty.

It's somewhat like one of the first Resident Evils but it's not scary at all. Controls, graphics and interface are faithfully done in PS1 era style. Story is incredibly confusing and I have no idea what is going on. Then the game abruptly ends. I'm not sure if I just died and didn't understand the moral or something. I didn't restart the game. If I got it right the real-life story is beyond depressing although there are elements I completely did not understand. What was up with the eyes? What was up with dad's gun? What was up with the zombies and the dolls going into the walls stunning you? I do feel I didn't experience all of the game because it ended so abruptly and put me back in the main menu but it's so confusing it's just too frustrating. I might give it another go at some point but idk. Feels like the title card was closer to the ending than the beginning as far as the game's length is concerned. Edit: I gave it another try but it just started me in the beginning. I got to the same place, died again. Yeah, I think that's all of the game.
i got the world record Edit: will get it again
Isometric Psychological Horror survival game where you can collect Green Herbs to heal yourself and shoot zombies while searching for ammunition. Until you reach the rooftops in which case you just die because your guns don't work on those dudes.
it's alright, no clue why this is a separate free game and not marked as a demo.
weird game but I liked it and its design was pretty good. confusing though for some parts of the game story wise but overall an ok game https://youtu.be/6g3nf-wj5dY
It's a very interesting idea and i like the fact that as the "good old" demos this one doesn't let you continue after a certain point and just doesn't go black screen on you. Looking forward to the next release / full game
cant shoot the child when i get the gun
