This game is amazing. I was skeptical at first because the game reminds me a lot of Geometry Wars, and I thought that Geometry Wars Evolved was a perfect game already. Well, turns out there are ways to improve on the formula. The movement feels better than in GW. Different ships add a lot of variety to the gameplay, and the upgrade decks make each run feel unique. I spent 50 hours playing this and wasn't bored. It's incredibly addictive.

I enjoyed this game a lot but right now it has a very serious bug in Bazzite. The game will randomly freeze with music still playing, and there is no way to restore it except force quitting the game. The occurance rate of this bug is pretty bad, i would say 8/10 games, the longer I can survive the more likely it freezes in mid game. I have never win a run because of this bug. I hope dev see can see my concern here :(

Protip: The clear the campaign, shoot at the enemies until they die.

I was on the fence at first, thinking this game is just a fancy space invaders remake, but I was still sold by the pretty colors and good music. The game is amazing and addicting, "easy to learn, hard to master" and great on steam deck (especially OLED). It has roguelite elements, and offers a scaling challenge difficulty option, but I was able to clear World 1 after a few hours of attempts on the base mode. The music and sound effects/styling of the game are great as well Perfect for quick drop in and out runs (if you suck like me), if it looks like your style and you like EDM, do yourself a favor and pick it up :)

One of the best twin stick shooters I have played in a long time. I truly appreciate the effort behind making a game like this, even though it is quite niche. Such an incredible game!

It's really good fun. The gameplay loop is engaging, and the music is excellent.

Geometry Wars, really polished

Sektori is, in the best way possible, Geometry Wars with mutated DNA. It's a gorgeous little twin-stick shooter with a surprising amount of depth, learning all the right lessons from other top-down shooters and then doing it in a new, interesting way. Learning the game mechanics is pretty straightforward, but mastering them takes a lot of practice. There are 7 different modes to play, so there are plenty of leaderboards to try and conquer as well. I would highly recommend this for anyone who's enjoyed games like Geometry Wars and wants something in a similar vein, and it runs great on Steam Deck to boot
