It's kind of worth it because it's such a different experience from most games, mostly due to the graphics, but it's also very short and almost feels like a demo since it fails to really flesh out a lot of its ideas. The main appeal of the game is the use of real full motion video footage of the New Zealand woods spliced in with still footage of trees and little wood "tumors" that you can control by moving your seed inside of them. That probably sounds strange, but the game calls them tumors. The gameplay is honestly a little dull, but you do get immersed in the world due to the mesmering audio design and beautiful environments. The game shines the most when you're looking at real full motion video of people or seeing real streams of water flowing in the background. The puzzle element is incredibly simple, as all you're doing is putting the seed inside of one of the wood tumors and using its ability (Jumping, or launching the seed) to progress further. It reminded me of the puzzles in Ecco the Dolphin on Genesis because they are simple but you need to figure out the order required to proceed. There are "energy nodes" you can collect that do little more than add to 100% completion. They are always in plain sight but require a few extra steps to acquire. 100% completion of this game took me less than 90 minutes, but that's OK because I only spent a few dollars on it and this is a game you play more for the experience than anything. I wish there were more to the chase sequence early in the game, and also the ending needed to be a little longer. You're supposed to escape from a lab but the game kind of just ends at that point which I found disappointing. A final section where you find a way to break out of the lab would have been great.

적당히 즐길만함. 배경과 브금은 정말 힐링 좋아하시는 사람에게 추천. 한국어 번역이 없기는 한데 딱히 플레이에 크게 지장 안줌. 조작도 간단해서 설명 안봐도 그냥 금방 다 알음. 하지만, 개인적으로 결말까지 그냥 평범해서 딱히 강렬하게 기억에 남지는 않음. 그냥 평범한 힐링 게임 이라는 것 정도. 뉴질랜드 게임이라는 거 알고 살짝 놀랐음.

I loved this little game, reminiscent of Unravel and Unravel Two, in which a glowing seed gets passed around like a football from what I thought were stick bugs but are revealed for their correct identity at the end. Great story, vivid scenery and fun mechanical/physics puzzles to solve from scene to scene. I didn't want to see this one end.

Beautiful, relaxing little puzzle platformer with flawless mechanics.

アングリーバードをフォトリアルにして、ゆったりとした脱出ゲームにした感じ。 200円くらいならまあ…といった感じ。 フォトリアルといってもニュージーランドの写真を張り付けただけなのでフェティッシュなものは感じない。 意識高い系の国が作ったインディーゲームは大体そんな感じ。

小さな種のささやかな冒険 実写とゲームの世界が見事に融合した世界を、 その場その場に自生している植物たちの力を借りながら冒険していくパズルアドベンチャー。 一番の魅力はやっぱり自然のビジュアル。 種から見た森や小川、岩場をミニマムに、そして美しく描く唯一無二のルックス。 BGMも合わさりかなり癒された。 パズル要素、特に角度はシビアで何度かやり直すことに。 岩場では少し単調さを感じたが、全体的な難易度設定はちょうど良く 解けた時の気持ちよさはしっかりあった。 そして少しのサプライズ。 最後には、一本の短編映画を見終わった後のような気持ちよさが残る。 ぜひ途中で投げ出さず最後までやってみてほしい。

Very nice relaxing platformer.

A simple, visually unique puzzle platforming game. The ending really wrapped a nice bow on things. Not particularly difficult, so this one is good for most people, I think. $13 full price is a bit steep for 1.5(ish) hour game but I'm not mad about it.

Really nice 2D jump and rund. Appriciate the realistic nature and also the real pics and vids from NZ. Thanks for this game.
