About
After WWIII, the world is no longer the same.
The cities lie in ruins, civilization has collapsed, and silence rules the streets of an unrecognizable Italy. In this setting rises Seconda, a fictional town in the province of Foggia, where a few survivors still search for a reason to keep going.
In Seconda, you play as Aurora — a woman struggling to survive amid ruins, radiation, and despair. Her only hope is to repair an old military radio in an attempt to reach the outside world — a task that’s simple only in appearance.
Every choice matters: manage your food supplies, fortify your home to withstand night raids from bandits, and repair what’s left to keep living.
Food has become the new currency of the world — trade it with Vill, a wandering merchant who occasionally visits Aurora to offer her deals.
Face armed bandits who have turned Seconda’s mall into their stronghold, or avoid the mutants roaming the irradiated streets.
Every encounter is a fight for survival, and every bullet can make the difference.
The contaminated zones hide precious resources, but your time inside them is limited. Prepare yourself, stay protected, and plan every move if you want to make it home alive.
In the silence of the night, the sound of the wind mingles with the creak of wood and the footsteps of raiders. Aurora is no hero — she’s just a survivor, like many others, trying not to give in to the end.
Seconda is a third-person survival game with management elements, set in a post-apocalyptic Italy.
Explore, build, trade, fight, and survive — because in this world, life is worth nothing anymore…

I was curious to try it, and I have to say it surprised me. I found it engaging and smooth. You can also play it with a controller.
Kıyamet sonrası İtalya'nın kalıntıları arasında hayatta kalın. Kaynakları yönetin, evinizi savunun ve dış dünyayla iletişim kurmak için bir radyoyu yeniden etkinleştirmeye çalışın.
Gioco interessante, avvincente e sfidante, l'ultimo atto a dir poco adrenalinico, consigliato

Seconda: APaT is a really interesting game to try for everyone, starting from people who never touched a game in their life to the real nerds of gaming, and i can recommend it for multiple reasons: the scenarios, which might seem simple, are super effective; the characters have unique appearance as well as catching lines; the story, which might not be set in a real historic time, has a touch of reality to it; the music that matches perfectly with all the scenes in its simplicity and much more. Adding up to all, the game was made by one single person, from the very basics of game design, to the music and all, it might not have the perfection of the big-industry game, but has all the love and passion of one single talented young man who is putting himself into the challenge, it deserves attention just for the effort that it has into it. Hopefully more people can get to touch and try Seconda: APaT, not just now with its very short and simple gameplay, but also in the future with further updates and more content to it. Proud of the amazing work! Keep going Co'! <3
Played through twice, and my final judgement is that this game has some interesting ideas but with questionable execution. Wouldn't recommend it personally, but it's a short and free game so we can't be too hard on it. The aiming is fine for what it is, although due to friendly fire being a thing, I was able to get some enemies to kill each other XD When you change maps, you can see decorations and events appearing/disappearing just before the fade to black which is kind of odd. This is because many maps like the apartments and the clinic corridor, are actually just one map that changes dynamically based on where you are. But why making it like this instead of just making multiple maps? It must have been a nightmare to code, I bet. The idea of randomizing some items and decorations is cool I admit (especially for a short game like this), but there's not much variety on what you can find. Mostly you'll find pistol bullets and be maxed out way before the
"final boss".
Speaking of, the
"final boss" (if we can even call it like that) is pretty boring. You just stand in one spot, pressing a button every now and then and sometimes using an item from the menu.
I was also expecting
Vill to be the final boss. I thought that he would not allow the girls to leave, given that they mostly rely on him for supplies and therefore he would want to keep his "monopoly" on the area to make the girl do business with him and possibily do other things that should not be spoken of in this place.
Bugs I found: - Sometimes using a Medikit or Filter when you only have 1 unit in your inventory, has the game crash with "Cannot read proprety scope of null" - When you attempt to pick up Wooden planks and you already have 1 in your inventory, the game says you can't pick up more of them, but you actually get a second one. You can't pickup a third one, however. - When you are at 96 to 98 bullets and you attempt to pickup a stock of 5 bullets, you get bullets up to 99 and then the game says you can't carry anymore. However, the items stays on the ground so you can just pick up the 5 bullets again. -
Vill gives you 120 pistol bullets at one point near the end, which makes no sense since you can only hold up to 99 anyway.
- Interacting with the Sofa in Aurora's house still shows the choices in Italian (Usa/Annulla) even when I'm playing with the English language.
Gioco interessante, ma purtroppo non riesco a giocarci più di 2 minuti, appena mi sposto in un altro edificio, il gioco crasha con questo errore: Texture Error: frame does not fit inside the base Texture dimensions: X: 240 + 80 = 320 > 240 or Y: 160 + 80 = 240 > 320. Spero possiate risolvere.
Seconda: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale really impressed me with its unique atmosphere and the engaging way it tells a survival story set in a post-apocalyptic Italy. The setting is rich in detail: deserted streets, ruined buildings, and tension-filled silences truly make you feel part of this devastated world. The gameplay successfully blends action, exploration, and resource management. Every decision matters — from how you defend your shelter to how you use food or face dangers in contaminated areas. The presence of a wandering merchant adds a touch of dynamism to resource management and puts your planning skills to the test. I also appreciated the simple yet effective combat system. I’m really excited to see future updates… highly recommended!
