Search & Find - Hidden Objects

[h1]I WAS SOOOO BORED[/h1] I love searching games like Hidden Cats in Town and the Find All series, so I bought this game as soon as it was released. It looked bright and colorful and claimed to be geared toward animal lovers.   Those colorful graphics that caught my eye quickly lost their curb appeal because there were only a few different scenes that were repetitively used by cropping different sections of the same overall scene.    You are tasked with finding 3-5 clipart objects, such as 5 Trumpets, 3 Unicorns, 3 Bulldogs, or 5 Blue Balloons. Some of the levels are covered with nothing but childish stickers like Unicorns and Rainbows.     As you find an object, you have to sit there and watch a giant hand circle the item with a giant piece of chalk before continuing your search while listening to canned laughter & clapping. You are rewarded with new Crayons, Markers, and Chalk to circle these objects on the next level...oh goodie!   I'm not sure who the targeted audience is here. Some of the scenes are crammed full of older adults at a concert or dog park, certainly not appealing to a younger audience. The next scene may be a collage of clipart dogs and bones or the before-mentioned Unicorn & Rainbow stickers, which are certainly not appealing to adults. Hmmm???   The most annoying feature in this game is constantly having to hear a "Dong" and seeing a giant Red X appear on the screen every time you hold the mouse to drag the scene around as you search for the items. You literally have to make a conscious decision as to where you place the mouse before clicking and dragging the scene around; otherwise, the game thinks you are making a wrong selection.   I made it through 16 levels before calling it quits, so it's not like I didn't hang around to give it a chance to improve. I've played a large number of hidden object games (150+) and overall this one felt fairly average. Sometimes the objects were a little on the easy side, but others blended in quite well with the background and took a bit of hunting. A number of the scenes were repeated for a second level, but spaced out far enough it didn't really matter. The art style seemed to vary a lot between levels making it feel a bit disjointedness at times. And there was an annoying trumpet sound which would play at the end of each section despite the fact sound was disabled via the menu. It's certainly not the best hidden object game out there, and perhaps felt a bit overpriced. But if you are a fan of the genre and want to add it to your collection, it's perfectly fine.

Během hodiny hraní jsem narazil na tyhle chyby: [list] [*]Chabé možnosti nastavení, prakticky lze volit pouze mezi tím, zda máte hru v oknu nebo přes celou obrazovku a zda máte zapnuté nebo vypnuté zvuky. A taky lze upravit rozlišení. [*]Hra nemá omezení fps nebo Vsync, takže jsem měl kolem 2000 fps, což je samozřejmě špatně pro grafickou kartu. [*]Po omezení fps skrz externí program (RivaTuner) se nelze po jednotlivých obrazovkách posunovat tak ladně, ale jde to extrémně pomalu, takže nemůžete využívat klávesy, ale musíte přetahovat obrazovku myší. [*]Největším hříchem je extrémně nízké rozlišení při přiblížení obrazovky, kdy nevím, zda je původní rozlišení jen 1080p, ale jestliže chcete něco najít při přiblížení, tak to hodně štěstí, protože vidíte jen rozmazané fleky a hranaté obrysy. Což je prostě neomluvitelné u tohoto typu hry. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3031197675 [*]Posunování po obrazovce je tragické, lze se dostat jakoby i přes hranice obrazu, ale hra pak sama sklouzne zpátky, aby nebyly okraje prázdné. Jenže i tak je obraz jakoby zmenšený (vysvětlím snad lépe: obraz má tvar obdélníku, ale když najedete k okraji tak, že vidíte přes něj, kde je jen černá barva, tak kamera sjede dolů tak, aby nešla vidět ona černá barva, ale zároveň se ochudíte logicky i o část obrazu). [*]Po několika nesprávných klicích na obrazovce, kdy jste pokaždé upozorněni červeným křížkem, že tam daná věc není, je tato odezva pryč a červený křížek už po zbytek levelu neuvidíte. [*]Není tu žádný systém nápovědy. [*]Menu s levely se neovládá moc dobře. [*]Když přeskočíte level a u dalšího najdete vše a poté kliknete na jít na další level, tak vás to nehodí na další level, ale na ten, který jste nedokončili. Což je otravné. [*]Hra se mi dokonce i jednou při vypnutí sekla, takže jsem ji musel vypnout skrz správce úloh. [/list] Hrál jsem hodně podobných her, ale žádná nebyla takhle zprasená. Poslední kapkou pro mě bylo to, že jsem narazil na level, ve kterém jsem jasně viděl poslední věc k nalezení, ale hra mi to nechtěla uznat (dodatek: tak prý to není ona věc, která měla být nalezena, ale je jí zatraceně moc podobná, i přesto však výše vypsané body stále platí). Nejsem si jistý, jestli tyhle chyby budou opraveny v budoucnu, ale aktuálně platí jedno – tomuhle titulu se obloukem vyhněte.
