Scraper: Gauntlet

Absolutely loving this game so far. The weapons are all very satisfying in their own way, the different enemy types are fun, and I LOVE the throwing dagger. My only gripes come in the opening, where I was unable to press the button on the left glove to proceed for a good few minutes, but as that never really comes up again it's not a huge deal. Definitely recommend to anyone with a VR setup and excited to see what else comes to this game!

Gauntlet has been really fun so far. I dig the rogue-like inspiration. I never knew I wanted Binding of Isaac / Enter the Gungenon in my VR shooters. Now I do.

Very Good Game

It's a stationary wave shooter- no doubt, but it gets customization and enemy variances right and keeps you wanting to play more to get your next upgrade. I get slightly anxious (not in a bad way) when presented with the room choices between levels. Sort of like being presented two different options for your doom.

Beat the game, it was fun to play through. I would not pay full price, but fun game if you catch on sale.

This game is a lot of fun! The base mechanics of shooting and using your toolset are great once you get the hang of things, which doesn't take long! A tasteful cross between a wave shooter and an RPG with just the right amount of narrative influence to keep the player engaged. The visuals, the progression, and the weapon variations help make this game stand out not only within its own genre, but as a VR game in general! It challenges the player to switch up their play-style in order to overcome certain encounters due to the way enemy mutators stack with one another. There is also a post-game mode once you beat the campaign that continues to scale with the players power! So basically endless fun! This is a must own VR game for anyone out there looking for a new shooter and/or some fast paced, exciting, and rewarding action!

This game is a lot of fun. Visually the game looks great, it has decent voice acting as well as a story to go with it. The weapon mods are also great and change how your weapon works quite a bit. overall if you like wave shooters you will probably like this game.
