Scary Maze

This is a masterpiece. The lore is so mysterious and it'll have the player sitting in their seats question what they just saw, wanting to play again! I have 3 hours in this game and still don't know the complex storyline. If anyone wants to discuss it with me DM me rn.

This asset flip is so badly done it's even using the default GameGuru launch screen and "options" page (although they did add their own crappy wallpaper)... and let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs. You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos, toys, and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay! The poor quality of this asset flip is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Scary Maze is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this GameGuru asset flip is impossible to recommend.

a true diamond in the rough. this gem is for the hardcore horror fans only though, its just too spooky for the average consumer. This game is so enjoyable as it draws back to older horror games while still improving on the genre. i wouldn't be shocked if it wins GOTY.

Fundamentally, Scary Maze is the greatest game ever created, and no other game can reach it's caliber. When Scary Maze was released, it raised the bar of the video game industry to a point where no other game could physically ever be better than Scary Maze, other than Scary Maze itself. Scary Maze forever is and will be the greatest video game of all time. If somebody asked me, “Why do you like Scary Maze so much?”, you know what I would tell them? I would tell them Scary Maze is my soul, it is my fuel, it gives me the strength and energy to wake up every day and keep going. Scary Maze is simply god's gift to the world. If you play Scary Maze, you're already on a higher level intellectually than the majority of the world. That's simply because Scary Maze makes you superior to the rest of the human race. It stimulates your brain cells the more you play, with every monster you kill. The more you play Scary Maze, the more of a saint you become, until you play enough Scary Maze to reach ultimate god status. Scary Maze is the best game ever created.
