Scaredy Cat is a short, emotional narrative adventure where you play as a young kitty trying to prove she’s brave enough to cross the darkest part of the forest to find a rare flower alone. A journey that starts as a simple dare quickly becomes something deeper, as kitty meets the inhabitants of the forest and has to face the truth about herself.
A short but heartfelt experience (~10–20 minutes);

The game was made as a part of a Summer Studies course at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences in just a few months. This is out first Steam release! :)

Really cute game, however it is buggy, so you might need to reload a save, like in the part with the second monocle, it has a bug where the level change doesn't load.

Игра 'Scaredy Cat' – это очаровательный и жутковатый платформер, который определенно понравится любителям жанра и тем, кто ищет что-то необычное. Главный герой, трусливый котенок, отправляется в мрачное приключение, полное ловушек, пугающих существ и головоломок. Визуальный стиль игры невероятно привлекателен – темные, готические локации, выполненные в милой пиксельной графике, создают неповторимую атмосферу. Игра ловко балансирует между хоррором и трогательностью, заставляя сопереживать робкому котенку. Геймплей прост, но увлекателен. Прыжки, уклонения и использование окружения – основные механики, которые необходимо освоить, чтобы выжить. Разнообразие врагов и ловушек заставляет постоянно быть начеку и разрабатывать тактику. Небольшая сложность игры скорее плюс, чем минус – она стимулирует к прохождению и достижению цели. Scaredy Cat - это короткая, но запоминающаяся игра, которую можно порекомендовать как способ приятно провести время и получить дозу милого хоррора.

This game is absolutely amazing. Once you get used to the controls on the tree part, you can do pretty good at it. The ending has me sniffling because i am on my period and didn't look at the reviews for this game because I was just looking for good and free cat games and This is a good and free cat game I was not expecting the twist at the end and even played it a 2nd time to let it sink in. Owszem, jest darmowa, ale zawiera głównie błędy w zadaniach typu „przynieś” i sterowanie jest słabe. Ponieważ to gra dla dzieci, prawdopodobnie nie przyniesie żadnych efektów poza frustracją młodych, nieudolnych graczy.
This game is SO SWEET! I kept getting frustrated till today I finally found the tree for the second monocole. I LOVE this game. Definitely reccomend.
