Never connecting the dots has been so brutal. I'm not even joking. Surprisingly good gameplay which evolves every minute, straightforward and effective story with a really clear message, visually stunning. I wasn't prepared for this level of quality, for free. I highly recommend.
As subtle as a hammer to the face about its themes, but they're good themes. The horror of capitalism, consumerism and the replacement of humanity by generative AI. The vibes are impeccable and the gameplay is fun, though it made me tear my hair out a little in some levels. Strongly recommended, especially at the low price of nothing.

An amazing piece of dystopian fiction and a great counter argument to the existance of generative ai. It takes around an hour to play through, with like 5-10 mins of reading, and the gameplay and narrative compliment eachother perfectly. With no tangible reward for completing the levels (score, achievements, etc) the player has only intrinsic motivation to perform the best it can, and while the gameplay itself can be uncomfortable, its quite forgiving in regards to actually losing. Even then, the player is discouraged from just taking hits by the visuals and narrative implications
Draw the rune. It may take practice, there will be obstacles stopping you, and taking the easy route makes you the problem. Go on. Pick it up. A short, free, 10-level "♥♥♥♥ you"-letter to the swift corporate acceptance of the heat death of creativity amassed to a fictionally global scale. The allusion to tracing runes to where learning the grid and making the "drawing" process second-nature is a beautiful procedure while avoiding the body-horror tainted slop that you'd see coming out of your not-so-favorite internet browser. Doesn't overstay its welcome but the final level is a doozy that I wish it either expanded on more in the story or removed it entirely and made it it's own difficulty. I'm glad I spent a hour playing what I've seen on Twitter a couple thousand times over: ♥♥♥♥ AI. Historia atrapante y jugabilidad muy interesante. Me encanta la idea que propone sobre las IA generativas, cada vez mas cerca de un futuro similar... ja ja... c,:
Extremely cool arcade puzzle game about the horrors of AI slop and rampant corporate greed. +Great visual design: combines analog horror characteristics with creepy animations (very cyriak) +Original gameplay +Good sound design that contributes a lot to the horror factor +Surprisingly big array of enemies and environmental hazards +Blunt but good approach to the themes -Galician translation is very poor, I also found several errors in the spanish text (real errors, not the deliberate machine speech) Overall a great time, played through the campaign in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it.
There's something I've heard about modern traditional RPG cyberpunk systems: that they're mostly an excuse to get you to read their writers' bad microfiction. I wouldn't call the microfiction in Sayonara Sigil Sentry bad, though a bit direct and on-the-nose would likely be fair criticisms. The gameplay itself is generally very simple, though by the end of the game the core mechanic had been altered enough that it had me screwing up my fingers a bit to try to survive the waves (specifically, the final fight). Interesting enough on that axis. For the grand total of "free", it's worth a dive into Sayonara Sigil Sentry to see the aesthetic, though I wouldn't expect your stay to last long.
EDIT : thanks for the answer ! I can play it now. ^^ I litteraly cannot finish the tutorial. For some reason, our pointer can only draw two spaces higher than its place, so the second training sign cannot be completed.
