Save the Kingdom

Hmm, There are so many random "BooB" stills at different angles everywhere in this game that I find myself wondering if the Dev was not breast fed as a baby and this was their chance to get revenge, it is a bit disjointed story-wise throughout the telling of it. Now it is an early access game and things will presumably change here and there (seriously get the randomised boobs sorted, it breaks the immersion), so there is a strong hope that things will even out before it is properly released. The Dev should also think about asking for a translator for the English if possible, obviously English is not the Devs first language here and it shows (that is not really meant as an insult, I am sure they speak better English than I speak theirs). Other than that I would say the story premise is good, and it is worth a play-through at least.

Update 20.10.2023: year without any updates! Game abanodoned. //In short: I recommend, but so far only to fans of this fetish. Pro: - rare fetish; - few animations; - low price. Neutral: - in general, average, not bad and not super 3d graphics Minuses: - a mediocre and strange story in my opinion ([spoiler]send the princess to other kingdom ON FOOT with ONLY ONE knight?[/spoiler] etc) - no gallery. PS The game is in early access, so I hope for its successful development and improvement.

Ja väldigt bra VN, gillar man furry`s så är detta en ädelsten, kombinationen i mellan furry och mänskliga kvinnor gör detta till en bra historia om ett (två) konungadöme i nöd. Historien är spännande, medeltida och intrigfull. Omgivningarna är snygga, tjejerna sensuella (villiga) och ser bra ut. Bra gjort författare och illustratören, ger denna VN åtta lägereldar av fem möjliga. Tack för ett bra spel..

Firstly save the kingdom implies your actions will have consequence. In fact the narrator makes it feel like it can heavily affect the end point. It doesn't. All it does is deviate the narration of events. It's a choose your own sex adventure with more or less the same end result. Some variation does happen in the end but the kingdom is safe irregardless. I was rather hoping there'd be consequences. Its a lot of still images which are decently rendered and quite a bit of clicking which is rather tiresome because you can't really skip a sequence unless you've already clicked through the story before. The story is kind of like most porn movies, doesn't really hold up to scrutiny. You let it play out anyways because it's porn and not a best seller. Could it be better, yes. Is it okay for what it is, it does well enough.

My friends and I purchased this game with excitement and glee, it was like running down the stairs on Christmas morning and seeing a box of just the right shape and size to be that brand new ten speed bike you had been talking about since last year, the one mom said Santa would bring if you were a good noodle. Well.. this isn't a ten speed, its actually a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bike no better than the one you already have, to make matters worse its second hand and already mostly worn out. You'd honestly be better off with the bike you have. Thats how I feel about this game. My friends and I ADORE a furry house, the strange choices in translation, the little errors, and after having played and completed save the kingdom I come to find that the true enjoyment was divining the next steps. Always wondering if we had finished the game or if there was more to discover, trying to crack the codes left in the achievements to find new scenes and more dialogue. Our enjoyment with Furry House was not just reading but puzzle solving as well, it tied the experience together into a true party game. Save the kingdom is NOT a furry house, these titles are nothing alike. AFH is a game in which you (Assuming you are a native english speaker who is no bilingual) must interoperate the strange and often otherworldly instructions and hints given to you by your family in the hopes that you will one day see one of your half sisters naked. Save the kingdom by comparison is a very straightforward narrative with a few branching paths and options, none of which require any investigation. These choices are laid bare for you, to ♥♥♥♥ or not to ♥♥♥♥. To coom or not to coom. I find personally that this style of game play leaves me bored with the characters and uninterested in the narrative. While I would not say that STK is a BAD game per se, I would say that if you were frustrated with the often times incomprehensible paths of AFH and struggled to unlock H scenes then STK is a far easier experience to get your jollies, If you find yourself amused with AFH's game play or wanted to have a fun night with some of your friends I DEFINITELY recommend AFH as its game play and problem solving are just as amusing as its story. To close out, I'd just like to say that I personally did NOT enjoy STK and while I wouldn't say its a bad game I would say that its not the game I expected from this developer and while I am excited to see whats next from them, I'll always hold A Furry House closer to my heart than Save the Kingdom, and im not sure I really will remember Save the Kingdom in a months time as anything other than a slog.
