Carefully adjust the force so that the princess does not fall down from the maze to reach the 11th floor. Traps installed throughout the maze interfere with the princess, so it is easy to go to the beginning floor if you do something wrong.

"Save King" is a simple and rather poorly made mobile app in the wrong place... the idea here is that you take on the role of a princess and you need to negotiate a few "maze" grid puzzles to save the king. The gimmick that runs the entire game is the way the princess moves, you basically put your finger on a touchscreen and fling with different levels of force to make the princess move, while also making sure not to push too hard or in the wrong direction, to avoid traps on the grid. The mechanism was clumsily adapted for mice, but it's obvious as soon as you start playing that the entire mechanism was made for mobile phones. This is Steam, for PC games. This looks, feels and plays like a mobile app. I checked the app stores and couldn't find it there, maybe it was rejected, maybe the developer thought Steam Direct was easier than trying to self publish through Google and Apple. Either way, this might as well be a mobile app. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay $100 and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. The graphics aren't great, low poly minimalist grid and a silly cartoony princess, this would look bad even on mobile phones. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $6 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. A peak of 2 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? Nope, even if you don't have to pay any money up front, this isn't something I can suggest PC gamers spend their time on... there's thousands of better games on Steam.
