KNOWN (RARE) ISSUE FOR OLD MACHINES: If you open the game and hear sounds, but only see a black screen, that's an issue with the MSAA settings on your computer, and not fixable on my end. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you want to play, follow the instructions outlined in THIS GITHUB THREAD:
to turn your "Antialiasing - Mode" setting in the NVidia control panel from "Override any application setting" to "Application controlled".

I was very immersed in the atmosphere of the game. It really felt like I had been transported back to Ancient Greece
Very interesting presentation, especially when it comes to characters. A bit more than a walking simulator as labeled, since there is an option to attack and do combat.
W, but i think it would be better to make the artifacts a permanently obtainable, kinda boring to get them all over again after you`ve already explored whole island.

An interesting game! Greek mythology and Godot are among my favorite things in this life and this game has it.
Very good little indie experience, although there were a couple bugs here and there. I enjoyed my time and hope to see more from this dev in the future. 8/10
Dreamlike and atmospheric. This is a short game but filled with eerie weirdness, both calm and foreboding. Great!
MEDUSA! I really like how the stone statues really gave it away
Sorry, but this isn't very good. There is no guidance (how many items do you need?), the island is large and empty, with everything looking virtually the same (I had to walk in circles for 10 minutes until I stumbled onto the last NPC, which incidentally looked like a non-interactable statue from afar). The mechanics for the final encounter aren't clearly explained *and* janky (
Why does invisibility become inactive when you jump? Why can't you slay some hostile characters? Why can you look directly into medusa as long as you shield is up?
). The island also looks very dull. It is Proteus stripped of beauty. The music was okay, until the end, when it the "tense" music just abruptly stopped as you reach safety. No subtlety or transition, just sudden silence. The "puzzle" part was also unnecessarily long (despite being short). It's fine for a personal project, and an achievement in that sense. But there is little reason for anyone to play this. It is unpolished and has little to add to the myth it's retelling (to the contrary, it subtracts).
