You awaken in Ekera, a hellscape of rot & torment. A nightmare morphed by ones own failures, guilt, and the crushign weight of one's own shortcomings in life. There is no escape except through confrontation. Face what brought you here, endure the endless strife, and recover the shattered fragments of your soul: the only key to the gates that bind your soul.
The damned scream through the dark without end. Godless beings tear each other apart in endless violence, yet even death offers no peace. In Ekera, the soul knows no respite.
Sandrotten: Ekera is a brutal fast paced action hack & slash built for players with sharp reactions and aggressive instincts. Every trial grows more challenging than the last with an increasingly more intense fights, and every victory pushes you deeper into Ekera.
Fight through four escalating trials filled with relentless damned beings ("The Sandrotten"), unlock devastating weapons with different movesets for different fighting styles, earn rare armor sets through sheer endurance and skill.
Most souls trapped in Ekera never escape. Some are dead. Some are dying. Some are suspended somewhere between life and oblivion. Each soul in Ekera is trapped in their own unique hell.
You are one of them.
If you survive long enough to conquer all four trials and open the final gate, you may return to life. Or, if your fate has already been sealed, you may finally reach the Keeper’s side and find the rest denied to every other soul trapped below.
But Ekera does not want you to leave. It will not guide you, nor will it show you kindness.
