"Seeing as you're not committing the crime we're accusing you of, we'll let you off with a warning this time" at first I laughed, then I realized that's actually how it works
The entire series relies on its unfunny jokes which hinder the gameplay a lot, and the gameplay itself is rather average anyway. I shouldn't have bothered myself and I don't recommend it.
The first episode of Sam & Max Save the World brings back everything that was good about Sam and Max in the original game Hit the Road (1993) by Lucas Arts and adds the cherry on top. It also serves as a perfect introduction to the characters for those who have not played the previous game or read the comics. The story of the first episode is Sam and Max getting a call from the local (in)convenience store Bosco's that a couple of soda jerks are... delivering videos to his store? However something feels off and eventually you find out that there is a deeper and more sinister conspiracy behind it all. It's goofy and the conversations between Sam and Max are great. Since it's a self-contained case within the first season, it both has a resolution and opens up for more to come. The gameplay feels much better than their previous games (Bone series), with the inventory working in a similiar way. There aren't many interactive puzzles, but instead it's a matter of conversations and grabbing objects at various stages. The chase/driving stages are okay, however they feel a bit janky at times. Overall, a great first impression of Sam & Max in 3D. I loved seeing their office recreated, and there are a lot of hints to the previous game that can be found if you know what to look for. I definitely recommend this one for all Sam & Max fans to try out, but also for any point click fans!

An ok point and click adventure game. The humor is hit and miss and it shows its age, but good enough especially when you need to find something to play on underpowered hardware.
Notice: Sam & Max 101: Culture Shock is no longer available on the Steam store.
Sam & Max is good.
Вайбы в целом ощутимы. Пару раз затупы имеются, но потыкать мышкой в 100500 картин на стенах или на мусорные баки интересно.
8/10 - Very charming, funny point & click adventure.
