Not very good, unfortunately. Some of the art is okay, but the story is somehow both ludicrous and uninteresting, and the writing is downright awful. Even with the R18 patch, this game has next to nothing to offer. Consider looking through the store photos and calling it a day - you're not going to find much more in the game proper. Fate/Stay Night, this ain't.
It's okay. :) I recommend buying it when it's on sale and in the "Sakura Succubus Bundle" When the games are on sale they are all 2.49$ except Sakura Succubus 9 which is 4.99$. In the bundle they are around 80% off lowering it down to 1.99$ except for #9. Also get the free patches. There are a few grammatical/translation errors but other than that it is fine.
The art is good, and the characters are drawn very well. There are about 7 different H scenes with a total of 20 scenes. There are no motion scenes and no voice acting. The story is okay, but not particular interesting. It is hard to recommend this game at the price point it is asking for.
A good novel with different succubus girls and erotic situations between them. I recommend it if you like novels and succubus.
Sakura Succubus 2!
Sakura Succubus introduces a romantic visual novel experience that immediately embraces its unusual premise and builds an entire story around it without hesitation. The game follows Hiroki, an ordinary young man whose quiet life changes dramatically after a chance encounter introduces him to the world of succubi. What initially seems like an impossible situation quickly becomes the beginning of an increasingly strange and entertaining journey involving supernatural women, unexpected attention, and relationships that continue becoming more complicated with each new development. Rather than focusing on dark fantasy themes or turning its supernatural elements into something threatening, the game uses them as a backdrop for romance and comedy. The narrative is less concerned with building mysteries or creating large-scale conflicts and instead centers on everyday interactions between characters. Much of the enjoyment comes from watching Hiroki navigate situations that become increasingly awkward and unpredictable as his life grows more complicated. One of the strongest aspects of Sakura Succubus is the cast of characters surrounding the protagonist. Since visual novels often rely heavily on personality and dialogue, creating memorable characters becomes essential, and the game appears designed with that in mind. Each woman introduced into the story carries distinct personality traits and approaches interactions differently. Some are confident and playful while others are more reserved or mature. These differences help create variety throughout conversations and keep interactions from feeling repetitive. The relationships themselves become the main driving force behind progression. Instead of focusing on dramatic action sequences or major twists, the game builds momentum through character chemistry and developing connections. Watching personalities interact with one another often creates entertaining situations because the cast members respond differently to Hiroki and to each other. The game frequently places characters in unusual circumstances that generate humorous reactions and lighthearted moments. The writing follows a casual and accessible style that matches the overall atmosphere well. Sakura Succubus does not attempt to take its premise too seriously, and this approach helps the story remain enjoyable. Humor becomes a major component throughout the experience, often appearing through misunderstandings, awkward encounters, and exaggerated situations. Since the narrative embraces its own absurdity, many scenes feel more entertaining because they avoid becoming unnecessarily dramatic. As a visual novel, gameplay itself remains very straightforward. The majority of the experience revolves around reading dialogue and progressing through scenes. Players expecting extensive mechanics, combat systems, or exploration elements may quickly realize that interaction is limited compared to other genres. The experience is built primarily around storytelling and character development, making the writing and cast the central focus rather than gameplay complexity. The visual presentation also plays an important role in maintaining engagement. Character artwork follows an anime-inspired style and serves as one of the game's strongest visual elements. Detailed illustrations and expressive character designs help communicate personality and emotion throughout scenes. Since visual novels rely heavily on presentation, the quality of the artwork contributes significantly to keeping players invested in the experience. At the same time, the straightforward structure can create certain limitations. Players looking for deeper systems or more interactive gameplay may eventually feel restricted by the heavy focus on dialogue. Since progression largely involves reading conversations and following the narrative, enjoyment depends heavily on interest in the characters and overall premise. Despite these limitations, Sakura Succubus succeeds because it understands what kind of experience it wants to provide. It does not attempt to become a large-scale fantasy adventure or introduce unnecessary complexity. Instead, it focuses on entertaining character interactions and lighthearted storytelling while fully embracing the ridiculous charm of its supernatural concept. For players who enjoy visual novels built around romance, anime-inspired presentation, and character-driven storytelling, Sakura Succubus delivers an enjoyable beginning to a larger series. Beneath the unusual premise is a game that succeeds through personality, humor, and a cast capable of carrying the experience from beginning to end. Rating: 8/10
