Sakura MMO 2 — Achievements: Yes | Steam Deck: Playable

TL;DR: Beautiful anime-style Yuri themed visual novel with classic Sakura vibes. Solid experience overall, but pricey and niche depending on preferences. Best bought on sale or in a bundle.
Sakura MMO 2 continues the story from the first game, following the same characters in a fantasy MMO-like world, clearly inspired by a light Sword Art Online-style setting — with a more adult twist. The structure remains familiar: Read the story. Make choices. Unlock different scenes and endings. It’s a classic visual novel experience, and it does the job well. The game is censored by default, but can be uncensored with a patch, unlocking additional content. Depending on your preferences, this can significantly change the experience. Visually, this is where the game shines. The anime-style artwork is colorful, clean, and polished — very much in line with the Sakura series quality. Characters are expressive and well-designed, and the overall presentation is strong. The story is simple but functional. It follows a classic fantasy progression with character interactions and light narrative development. Choices do have some impact, especially toward the end. One important point: the game includes a strong focus on specific types of interactions and character dynamics that may not appeal to everyone. This is very much a matter of personal preference. Music fits the fantasy setting well, with a solid heroic/fantasy atmosphere. The main downside is the price. As a standalone purchase, it feels a bit expensive for what it offers. It makes much more sense as part of a bundle or during a sale. Not very original and a bit overpriced, but worth it for fans — especially on sale. Curator: MexarGaming — https://steamcommunity.com/groups/mexargaming

forgot this was an h-game for a bit there
The sequel to Sakura MMO, a visual novel in the Sakura series taking place inside a game set in a medieval fantasy setting. It continues the story after the first game, this time more focused on a quest and some new characters, although you can only romance the same 3 girls from the first game, in 3 different endings. Also, it sets up the plot for the third game. The story has the same quality, and an uncensored patch is also available. If you enjoyed the first game, you won’t be disappointed by this.
