Original is aside from a few broken influence tweaks just working fine. And it's weird the 3-performances don't improve stats outside the big performances, there are 4 stats (all 3 girls+group), but due to this the 3 individual does not match the total. Adding the patch though, and the issues get worse: * All swimsuit CGs get altered, but the chibi's are unaffected * All "performance" CGI's get replaced, but most stay the same...? A few do have some changes * Text doesn't reflect what you see on-screen in a few scenes * 1 scene might be broken and cannot be triggered * 4(!) scenes are missing ENTIRELY, though they take up slots in the gallery Seems it's unlikely they will fix their patch though, so downvoted.

a new series and style of game from Winged Cloud in the style of a Match-3 which honestly was my first go through even though i have Hunie.Pop in my library haha but i had fun with it and i haven't even gotten everything yet. the run time is alot longer than your average Sakura series so thats a plus but you definitely want to download the 18+ patch because of the amount of extra content you get from it. only problem i had with the game is that you can tell when the CGs are meant for the censored version of the game even if you add the patch but overall is a new fun game if your familiar with Winged Cloud.

Sakura Melody isn’t like other Sakura visual novels. What’s common is that you play as a director, raising 3 girls to the status of superstars, while dating and interacting with them. That’s the meat of the story. The big difference is that it also includes gameplay elements. Not only do you have to manage your schedule by picking different activities, but those are represented by a match-3 style puzzle game. Granted, it’s basic and easy, and not as deep as Sakura Dungeon, but I enjoyed that it did something different for a change. It also uses Unity instead of RenPy. An uncensored patch is also available; however, it seems that some gallery images are unobtainable. You can unlock them by editing the save file, but still. Even with the gameplay additions, the game only takes a few hours to beat. There’re achievements and Steam trading cards as well. Can recommend it if you enjoy the genre.
