About
What makes a saint? Fire to one’s face, wounds on one’s body, dying slowly from disease — history paints a grim picture. When Holly Beltran attends a religious recollection, she discovers the dark secrets that haunt the convent’s past. At night, broken faced statues and whispered prayers haunt Holly’s dreams — before the recollection is over, Holly may have to face more than her own demons to come out alive.

This is a very good story and definitely worth your time. That said, it is incredibly linear. For fans of The Letter, don't expect the same branching narrative that game had. I still really enjoyed it though.
Its more sad than scary (still can be spooky) and with some really good voice work So yee give it a try i recommend :^))))
Quite the story driven game, had me hooked the entire time playing. Absolutely adored the voice acting in this game as well, everyone really put their heart and souls into their preformances for this game!
I loved it and the story really gripped me in.
A very solid, short visual novel. I really enjoyed the story - it was captivating and genuinely engaging. The visuals, music, and voice acting were all high quality and added a lot to the experience. I especially appreciated the theme, I wish more games explored the topic of religious trauma. Holly and Adira were interesting, well-developed characters, and I definitely got invested in their stories. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Gabby - she felt more like a narrative tool to avoid having Holly just talk to herself, rather than a meaningful part of the story. I knew the novel was short, but I still wish it had been longer and offered more than one ending. Because of how linear it was, I had a feeling that outside of achievements, my choices didn't matter - on several occasions, Holly outright ignored the option I picked, which made the decisions feel pointless. I also would have loved to see the convent's history explored more deeply, as that part held a lot of potential but remained too vague for my taste. Despite these flaws, I really enjoyed Saint Maker. It has its weaknesses, but the strong storytelling and pretty visuals kept me engaged. With more content and branching paths, it could have been an amazing visual novel.
Bruh, how is this game so slept on? I am in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love.
Saint Maker is a good psychological game, some things are easy to figure out, while others left me like WHAT. But all in all, fantastic game, good story and the thematic is *chef kiss* Sure as hell a good read if you're into all that catholic trauma.
Breathtaking game with such well crafted story with themes of religious trauma, mental health, and questioning what is right and wrong. I did think that the story had more potential, explaining some of the more scary supernatural elements. However this doesn't take away from the beauty of the story
As a Christian much of this is very hard reading but in other ways its the easiest thing in the world. The story isn't Christian in of itself but the story tells the story of what goes on beyond prayer, and contemplation but about living. And in the end though not a Christian tale, that's half of what Christianity truly is. Living.
The voice acting and sound design is excellent, and gives this visual novel a lot of character. It's a heavy story, difficult to get through. Well written and thoughtful. The art is unique and fits well. An interesting choice to depict religious trauma within a male-centered and misogynistic religion with an all-female cast without much mention of the contrasting gender roles. In a way, it's bold to isolate the experience. Because of that, it really emphasized on the "mother issues/parental trauma", rather than get too deep into the critique of misogyny in the religion. It's a beautiful coming-of-age story anyway.
