動態CG很精緻, 戰鬥H也很厲害, 唯一缺點就量少而已. 在打折時買是不會後悔的
GOOD
Developed by WhiteMoor and published by Kagura Games, Saint Emiliana is a story-driven fantasy RPG that combines classic turn-based gameplay with a deeply personal tale of faith, loss, and redemption. At the center of the adventure is Emiliana, a devoted nun whose quiet life is shattered when her sister Laura is accused of witchcraft and taken away by the soldiers of the Mariethas Kingdom. Faced with overwhelming odds and desperate to save the only family she has left, Emiliana enters into a forbidden pact with a demon, sacrificing her own soul in exchange for extraordinary power. This dramatic premise immediately sets the tone for a journey that explores not only dangerous lands and supernatural enemies but also the emotional cost of abandoning one's ideals in pursuit of a greater purpose. The narrative stands out because it focuses heavily on Emiliana's internal conflict. She begins as someone guided by unwavering faith, yet every step of her quest forces her to rely on powers that contradict everything she once believed. This contrast gives the story genuine emotional weight, making it more than a simple rescue mission. Throughout the adventure, players uncover the truth behind the kingdom's persecution of supposed witches while confronting powerful enemies and difficult moral decisions. The inclusion of multiple endings adds further value, encouraging players to think carefully about the choices they make and how those decisions shape Emiliana's fate. Rather than presenting a straightforward battle between heroes and villains, the game explores themes of sacrifice, corruption, forgiveness, and the blurred line between righteousness and desperation. Gameplay follows the familiar structure of traditional Japanese-inspired RPGs, offering exploration, town interactions, dungeon crawling, character progression, and strategic turn-based combat. Battles reward careful planning over speed, requiring players to manage abilities, healing resources, and tactical decisions to overcome increasingly dangerous opponents. Emiliana's unique Demon Flame abilities introduce an interesting layer to combat by granting powerful attacks that reflect the supernatural bargain driving the story. Because these abilities are directly connected to the narrative, they feel meaningful instead of existing solely as gameplay mechanics. Character growth is satisfying as new skills, equipment, and abilities gradually expand combat options while maintaining a balanced sense of progression from beginning to end. Exploration also plays an important role, with players traveling through villages, forests, dungeons, and other fantasy environments while completing quests that gradually reveal more about the world's history and the forces manipulating events behind the scenes. The progression system is intentionally traditional, making the game easy to understand for fans of classic RPG Maker-style adventures. While the overall design does not reinvent the genre, it succeeds by refining familiar mechanics into a consistently enjoyable experience. Optional content, hidden discoveries, and branching story outcomes provide additional incentive to revisit the game after completing the main campaign. Visually, Saint Emiliana embraces an anime-inspired art style supported by expressive character portraits and colorful pixel-based environments. The graphics may not compete with modern high-budget productions, but they effectively capture the nostalgic charm of classic role-playing games. The fantasy settings are varied enough to keep exploration engaging, while the soundtrack complements both peaceful moments and dramatic confrontations with fitting orchestral and atmospheric compositions. Together, the visuals and music create a cohesive presentation that enhances the emotional tone of the adventure without distracting from the storytelling. While the game contains mature themes and darker subject matter, its strongest quality is how it balances those elements with meaningful character development. The emotional journey remains the primary focus, allowing the mature content to support the narrative rather than overshadow it. Fans of story-driven RPGs will likely appreciate how the game builds its world through dialogue, character interactions, and gradually unfolding mysteries instead of relying purely on combat. Players looking for innovative mechanics may find the gameplay comfortably familiar rather than groundbreaking, but those who enjoy traditional fantasy RPGs with memorable characters and emotionally driven storytelling will find plenty to enjoy. Saint Emiliana successfully delivers a compelling fantasy adventure that combines engaging turn-based battles, rewarding exploration, and an emotionally resonant story centered on difficult choices and personal sacrifice. WhiteMoor has crafted a game that respects the conventions of classic RPGs while adding enough narrative depth to distinguish itself from many similar titles. Supported by Kagura Games' publishing, it offers an experience that is both nostalgic and emotionally engaging, making it an appealing choice for players who value storytelling just as much as gameplay.
