About
"After falling asleep on the last train, I woke up in a bizarre place called Saihate Station..."
An exploration/horror/adventure game about the codependent, love-hate relationship between two men.
The main characters Haru Akinashi and Shion Tatsunami are both 26 years old and work in the same company.
Since Haru joined the company two months earlier, Shion calls him "Senpai."
They are complete opposites: Shion is cheerful and adept at everything, while Haru is a slow worker who lacks confidence.
Feeling inferior, and even a little envious, Haru starts to distance himself from Shion.
But a twist of fate brings both of them to Saihate Station, where they make a promise to work together and return home.
Their interactions are awkward at first, given the estrangement, but with each problem they overcome together, Haru recalls their former friendship, and their bond grows stronger than before.
Then, the whole truth of Saihate Station is revealed.
What will become of their feelings? And what are their destinations?

● Haru Akinashi
A self-effacing office worker who lacks confidence and social skills.
He processes things slowly and is often reprimanded by his manager.
Because he joined the company two months earlier, he's told to behave like a senior to Shion.
The two get along well, being the same age, but Haru starts to distance himself from Shion due to feelings of inferiority and even envy.

● Shion Tatsunami
An office worker at the same company as Haru, whom he calls "Senpai."
He appears to be talented, cheerful and kind, but the truth is...

Good story, great atmosphere :3
Saihate Station is a really good psychological horror game, through and through. The art really stood out to me at first glance; it really has this indie, cute but also sometimes horrific vibe that works well throughout. Both the characters develop quite well throughout the story, and it goes fairly in-depth into their motivations (even if I would rather there would have been a bit more). Gameplay is also pretty simple but overall, if you're playing this, you're probably interested in delving into the complex, messed up relationship between Shion and Haru, and the game delivers great on that front.
my mother almost disowned me while playing this game but i still remember it fondly
I LOVE THIS GAME
