That's a good description, well..
This game has only one single achievement, which will unlock on startup - nothing else.
Its tags are indie and massive multiplayer.
Quite interesting.
The main menu actually, without some chance to regulate graphics and everything else, puts you towards a choice between a normal mode and a PVP one.
The normal mode, still, will let you choose between 0, 1 or 2 players - choosing 0 players of course will lead you towards the good old SNES auto-modes in fighting games.
The whole game will consist of an extremely simplified Mortal Kombat-like game, I don't know, they're called beat 'em up or just fighting games or whatever.. you'll control a cube and the enemy will be another cube. Yeah, MS Paint cubes, red and blue, nothing else.
The game features so many stupid things that it will take hours to list them all.
First of all, you are not given any kind of tutorial - meaning that you'll have to manually search for the controls since you'll just be able to move with WASD keys.
Then, you'll be timed and the AI is stupid, and you can't even choose for instance a hard mode - if you don't play and instead of youching your directional keys you go and write a review, you won't die - the timer will get to 0 and a stupid striped line will appear from the left side of the screen, sliding to the right - entering it will rapidly deplete your energy.
Yeah, because the enemy cube will just keep on jumping up and down and randomly shooting wihtout any kind of reason.
The maps are limited and all stupid, like the retro-MIDI music - there are just some moving platforms, some clouds and generally-speaking an awful pre-rendered MS Paint background for each map which is really something impossible to watch.
Well, too bad this game has positive reviews written by accounts with just 1 review.. anyways..
Back to the "game", it's quite hard you'll make it through the first five minutes since it's literally all the same thing.
The maps are all the same, and you'll just be able to find out that the J key shoots and yeah, every shoot is the same fireball which does a small amount of damage, nothing else.
There's absolutely no story progression, really anything - just shooting between two cubes.
The PVP mode? For which this game is tagget as massive multiplayer? Well, it will just open the same 5 maps as above, just with a nice text below: "Online: 0" for each map, obviously.
This will just put you into one of the five maps with a massive text - "waiting for another player" - and nothing else. So yeah, the multiplayer thing is that if there's another guy online at your same time - which is VERY unlikely since this game has absolutely no future if it won't be directly removed from the store - you'll have a stupid fight like the AI one.
This is probably the most basic and minimalistic 1vs1 fighting game I saw in many many years, and even the Commodore64 had way better games..
It's really something that needs and asks to be skipped and ignored for eternity.
