RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is a straightforward co-op action game that’s clearly made for fans of the show first and everyone else second. It drops you into missions where you fight waves of Grimm, clear objectives, and move through areas that feel like they were built to recreate RWBY’s vibe more than to be complex arenas. Combat is simple and very readable. Each character has their own weapon style and a few abilities, so the basics are easy to understand: light/heavy attacks, dodges, and skill cooldowns. When the game flows, it’s satisfying to string hits together and clear a room quickly, especially with teammates covering different angles. Co-op is where it’s at. With friends, the game becomes a lot more fun because you can coordinate, revive each other, and keep the pace moving. Solo play works, but it’s noticeably less exciting since the missions are designed around the energy of a group pushing forward together. Progression is mostly about leveling up and improving your skills. It gives you a reason to replay missions, try different characters, and slowly feel stronger. It’s not deep in a “build-crafting” way, but it’s enough to create a sense of growth as you unlock upgrades and get more comfortable with timing and positioning. Level design is mixed. Some stages feel like a clean run from fight to fight, while others feel repetitive with similar corridors, repeated enemy waves, and objectives that don’t change much. Enemy variety also isn’t huge, so the game leans on higher difficulty and bigger swarms to keep things tense. Presentation is very “RWBY,” which is a plus if you’re into the series. The characters, effects, and overall style match the source material, even if the game itself looks a bit dated. Audio and voice work help sell the atmosphere, and the soundtrack keeps a decent pace during longer sessions. Overall, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is best as a casual co-op game for fans who want to play as the team and beat up Grimm with friends. If you’re expecting a deep action system or tons of variety, it may feel repetitive fast, but if you want a light, mission-based brawler with RWBY flavor, it does the job.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Blake I'd smash can't lie
Really short, kind of not worth its price especially considering half of the characters are locked behind DLC. The abilities are cool and creative, same with the skill trees, but that doesn't justify the price considering how relatively short the game is. It's just... really not worth 28 dollars
dead game and also abandonware unfortunately. shame
Played it before they finished the game and it only had 4-5 levels. Combat is fun and serviceable, nothing ground breaking. Doesn't feel the best, also not the worst. If you love RWBY you might get something from the character lines, but overall the story and levels conceptually are very shallow. The best part of the game is that the models look pretty good. Sad it barely made it anywhere before they started cranking out DLC costumes and characters. Even playing it again now some, I couldn't be bothered to get through the first level before thinking 'Why don't I just go play a better beat'em up'... Maybe get it on sale, only worth 20$ for the dedicated RWBY fans.
wanted to get the review please button away
