insanely based
9/13更新了NPC系统和报站语音,乖乖真是太有感觉了,必需强烈推荐。 目前唯一缺点就是线路和车辆比较少,期待后续添加,很未来可期的游戏
this will be densha de go in 2013

While what is here looks nice, and conceptually it is interesting, the gameplay boils down just stop and go and smashing for the alarm to stop assaulting the ears. I would think this would make the game easy, but the constant changes to speed limits and extremely fickle and precise requirements makes it just feel brutal. This game also doesn't as I played explain anything, why am I being force stopped due to signals but then signed to go a speed be UI says i can't, these things i'm sure make since once learning about how these systems actually work, but learning them in the chaos of alarms and failed runs is unpleasant. best I can say is the game looks and sounds good, and i'm sure could be quite relaxing once one knows how trains properly work, though I will say for me the fps was not great averaging 45-60fps though on high settings.
Can't afford to travel to Japan so this is the next best thing
Very well made. Excellent train/cab models and sound design, and the map is realistically-crafted. Hoping in EA to see some immersion-focused updates (e.g. passengers, interactable cab).
Recommended As a real-life train driver with actual experience operating Japanese Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs) like the KiHa 52, KiHa 35, and the Kogane, I can confidently say that Running Train offers the most realistic driving feel available on the market today. Many rail simulators lean toward an arcade-like experience or overcomplicate the startup routine, but this game hits the exact sweet spot. It drops you straight into the cab with a true-to-life feel—it truly makes you feel like you've been handed the keys to your own train and railway line. What I Like: Authentic Cab Controls & Physics: Unlike Train Simulator Classic, where brake handles and throttles often feel like stepped "click-click" inputs, the control responsiveness here feels continuous and realistic. The brake actuation matches real-world driving behavior remarkably well. Immersion over Volume: While titles like Train Sim World offer vast route libraries and large fleets of rolling stock, Running Train achieves a level of fundamental driving realism that makes even a single route deeply satisfying and worth every penny. Areas for Future Development (What I’d like to see): Expanded Fleet: I hope to see steam locomotives, various diesel units, and shunting/yard operations introduced in future updates. Regional Routes & Reskins: Since the development team is based in Indonesia, adding Indonesian routes and locomotives would be a fantastic addition. Southeast Asian narrow-gauge railways (like Indonesia's KAI network) share strong similarities with systems like the Philippine National Railways (PNR), making them a great fit for potential reskins and additions. Final Verdict: Running Train is already the best simulator so far in terms of pure driving feel and handling mechanics. I am eagerly looking forward to its future development, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely realistic rail driving experience!
Ok, now this is a train game that really get me playing, not just about the graphics... actually the graphic itself is a bit overrated (depend on your hardware spec and scenario), however the points that stand out is - simple control but hard to master (well it's a train duh, but it would be helpful if there's more in-depth tutorial). - the detail on sounds and anncouncement is very good. - the lack of passengers can be a good points since it remove the immersiveness (it's quite hard to make people feel like real life and not 3d characters, if they do the hardware requirement would go through the roof). - the scoring system is like arcadi-sh but detailed, like this one. - scenery (not graphics), it's very detailed it and well though. As this is still in development i do wish there's a scenery mode in the future where you can just sit back as passenger and enjoy the ride.
