RuneScape: Dragonwilds

I want to be able to recommend this, but the bugs on a dedicated server are killing me. It's crashing, I guess I'll restart the server. Now I need to reboot again because it didn't load my world properly. Let me log out and log back in to fix the textures. Oh weird, I can't use my abilities. Clicking isn't working suddenly. I know it's early access, but this is painful.

I absolutely recommend this to any Runescape fan and or Survival craft lovers. It has one of the best building mechanics around with a convenient spell 'eye of oculus' which enables you to move free above and around your character to build without having to make scaffoldings to get to hard to reach places! Speaking of convenient spells, there are a plethora of quality of life spells from woodcutting multiple trees at once, rocksploding ore all at once right up to movement spells like windstep allowing you to your highest dreams! There is a deep tragic story seeped with lore books all throughout, alongside cinematic boss battles for each major zone. This is a hand crafted world with exploration at it's core and something to find around every corner. Honestly, I'm over 700 hours in and I still end up finding a corner I never fully explored. The combat is ever evolving with the new addition of agility giving us double jumps and dash. Aside from that, you can parry, dodge and block, or heavy hammer your enemies onto their backsides. 1.0 and beyond only aims to expand this to create a fluid, responsive and impactful combat system. The graphics are charming, fitting for the Runescape aesthetic, not overly demanding on the hardware while still offering incredible vistas to feast your eyes on around the world with beautiful lighting. There is a dedicated modding community that offer all sorts of quality of life additions as well as creating really unique worlds to play that divert from the base game. I can only imagine the creativity and alternate ways to play that'll come about with this community in the future. There is so much potential here that I truly believe this has the potential to be one of the best survival games on the market!

Coming from a die hard osrs player, this game has exceeded my expectations. I've always said, "if a game can take my attention away from osrs then it has to be good" and this game has done just that. If you enjoy survival craft games then this one might be for you. The depth the game has is incredible.
