Absolutely fantastic! I slowed myself down by being a bit greedy, accidentally doing a few things I didn't want to do and accidentally tossing an item in a very hard to reach spot but all in all 9/10 and the only reason I wouldn't give it a 10 is sometimes if you do something and instantly get a cutscene you're stuck where you are and can't reposition in certain scenes of the game so may be in an awkward space or have to reset yourself in the room via external tools (Steam vr) to then get at a thing to progress
Definitely get this one! Either you fantasy lover or dark triller, does not matter. I must admit that i still have to dedicate my self into compleation of this game. But even so, you' keep thinking of it. To point out:"Do not win the game!" It is good as it is cover and crower and covered. It is absorbed, personal, abstract and INTELEGENT! *casting an spell.

Some great visuals (walls, carpet!) but bugs on WMR like important objects (hammer) or the player clipping out of the environment for good break it. I could not finish it.
Its a bit hard to figure things out but the story is good i beat it in about 6 hours. I liked it a lot but wish there was more content overall great for a free to play.
very good for the price of free good combat good puzles and a good story
Only played an hour so far, but so far it's surprisingly fun.
For a free game this is amazing. If you have a VR set and you want to pick up a game that will challenge you, then you have no reason not to get this. This game given you several elements of VR rolled into one. The most frustrating thing about it is that it is difficult to aim your ranged spells accurately, which really becomes a problem in the final fight. Otherwise it's a fun, if short, single player game.
Runes: The Forgotten Path is a VR only first person adventure game where you control a wizard and you can cast some spells using VR controllers. Tha game is quite short, roughly 2-3 hours to finish. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes your game great is the VR, then your game isn't great at all. In this case it's because the game is buggy and unpolished, lacking depth and finesse. Other reviewers have reported the game doesn't work well with all VR headsets/controllers. The game is currently free to download, but was once a paid product. I can't imagine how people feel knowing they'd paid for this when it would be free later.
