About
A fantasy puzzle strategy game where a combination of wit, luck, and strategy will save a kingdom and crown the True Heir!
Draft a town of Raiders - Common peasants with mundane jobs by day, but who brave dangerous dungeons each week. Each week you can hire (or reject) various Raiders arriving in town based on the buildings you've constructed.
Brave dangerous dungeons - Push your raiders to find even more treasure, or flee for town to count your riches and mourn your dead? Don't mourn long, however, there are more Raiders arriving each week, eager to explore caves, ruins, and tombs. Dungeons are short and lethal, your only options are push forward and risk your Raiders or leave with your loot. Choose your party wisely as each Raider bring specific tags that help make some encounters easier, grant special abilities like Clairvoyance, or give clues as to the value of found magic items.
Decode ancient prophecies - Discover rumors, salacious and noble, about historical royalty and deduce the bloodline that leads to the True Heir to the kingdom. Each generation features three members of a Royal Family, only one of which is part of the true bloodline. Reveal information about each member of the Royalty (everything from name, and eye color to whether they had prophetic dreams or were part of an evil cult) to solve one line of the prophecy. Solve every line and declare a True Heir to win!
Inspired by many sessions of Dungeon Crawl Classics "Funnel"-style games, as well as countless nights around the table playing strategy board games like A Feast for Odin or Incan Gold.
Can you keep your town's finances in the black while solving each line of the prophecy, or will your Raiders meet a grim end in the dangerous dungeons below?
