Rule No. 3 Downpour

WOMEN!!!!!!!!! In all seriousness, I love the artwork. The guns moving with the screen is fun and having a whole-ass character in the corner is pretty neat. This one's a proper endless mode game this time around, which I personally prefer, but there's also a levelling system that increases random drops as a further incentive to keep playing- Having a direct levelling progression rather than fully relying on skill improvement is probably gonna make the leaderboard system slightly busted, but it's not something I've seen before and I like it!

great 3rd installement, the dev is really nice and always open to suggestions.

What an amazing game, love having it on whilst listening to a podcast on the side because my brain has the attention span of 2 seconds, but It's amazing fun and feels very good to play!!!!!! i will for sure add a whole lot more time in this game, the feeling of improving more and more every new round is very rewarding. Btw, the girl that has the Leon Kennedy like clothes is the coolest one!

had fun with this one. Premise is simple but still manages to present itself well. One thing I'd love to see is some sort of campaign mode. Maybe a boss every x levels or something. Overall a solid lil game.

These devs really hate geometry. Great addition to the series, this one shows the most polish of the three. The has seriously double down on simplicity and if the idea is still make a "waiting to download" game to just boot up and play while you're waiting for something, this one nailed the formula. Now, some slight criticisms. This paraghraph may seem big, but these are really small details. Firstly I'd say make spheres louder so you can tell they're coming, because god knows these spheres hate you. Also, I don't know why, but Rule doesn't talk this time around, I felt like the first game was the best as hearing her talk at every oportunity (pause, unpause, quit the game, everything, really) gave the game a lot of personality, especially because of how meta she is, talking directly to you and knowing she's in a game. And lastly, if you care about leaderboards, this game has it, but you do level up the more you play, which seems counterintuitive, since this means players are not equal in power. Skill is still the greatest pillar, but I'm not sure if this is the way. TL;DR - Cool fast shooter, no frills, straight to action, good gunplay, cheap, it's really a great addition to any game library as long as you like movement shooters. Spheres can kiss my shotgun.

A fun game! I enjoyed the last two games and I look forward to the future of the Rule No. series. I am writing this during the early access, and here are some features I would appreciate. It would be awesome if voice acting was added, Irula's funny comments in the first game was some of my best experiences! And cloud saves would be great. Keep up the good work Oddkins and team!
