RUINER

In spite of some early jankyness, Ruiner is a great isometric shooter and an absolute blast to master and play through once you get into the rhythm of dash, power up and hit, on top of a great soundtrack and a strong cyberpunk, Akira and Neuromancer-esque narrative that does its job even if it's fairly straightfoward. Absolutely reconmended to play!

I found this game really hard, but fun. And so was I whenever Her showed up.

short and sweet experience. works all right on steam deck. great art style. combat has a floaty feel but i didn't mind. ability to reallocate upgrade points at any time is great.

Итог: RUINER привлекает своим динамичным геймплеем и мрачной атмосферой. Несмотря на сложность и повторяемость уровней, игра предлагает захватывающий опыт для любителей экшен-рогаликов.

Fun Smooth Beautiful world (dystopian) Beautiful visuals (also dystopian) Plenty of approaches to defeating a decent variety of enemies thanks to your skill tree making this a "tactical" beat em up You can change your skills at any point of the game (and depending on the situation you will need to) There is plenty to praise about this game (and I might return to actually do it) but i have few complaints that i need to immediatelly write down so I don't forget them: 1. There is video interference (by design for story purpose) mostly at the beggining of the game, few in the middle, and at the end. Overall some 45 SECONDS of video interference in a 10 hours game. AND IT'S ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SEIZURE INDUCING Every other visual in the game: lasers, flashbangs, strong lights, white screen pannels are fine. 2. Enemy difficulty is all over the place but there is one consistency: larger enemies are easier to deal with than smaller ones. Larger enemie's animations are easier to read and they PIVOT noticably slower than their smaller allies That's it ! Two complaints.

this is a solid game i'd recommend to this day.
