Ruin is a free to play survival sci-fi sandbox MMORPG indie game where you try to survive on mankinds attempt to colonize a distant planet. Chances are stacked against you, but don't give up. You are most likely the last human alive. It is up to you and you alone to do what you must to stay alive.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Sort of a vanilla warcraft vibe
It is ROUGH. its new, ok? Ping spikes like crazy... few features...tons of trolls.. Perhaps something beautiful one day, but today is not that day.
Between inverted camera and optimization issues, this game is not at a place where I can recommend this.

I don't always do a review but this is/was a steaming pile of dog ♥♥♥♥.
"Очень интересная онлайн игра , которая всё ещё в закрытой Beta с 2018 года и которая не работает" 👍 Для кого там выпускаются обновления и новости?
I've enjoyed the little that I've played. However... 300ms+ of latency and 22 FPS (at best) 'Ruin' the experience. I'll be waiting for Australian / SEA servers (and perhaps better optimization). Granted - I'm playing on a 🥔 (but a 🥔 that's managed higher budget titles).
This game is definitely rough and requires you to engage with the little community that is here, but it is welcoming. The Dev is in chat and flies around to help people or talk to them with bugs as they happen. The fact that you can terraform a plot on the server and plop down a house makes it feel alive because you can carve out your spot near resources or town. It has the old school feel for sure and there are performance issues atm but they are being actively worked on. This could be a reaaalll gem soon, but lower your expectations for now. I have been having a lot of fun with it, just is a bit different.
It has all the bones of an MMORPG. It has skills, crafting, EXP, Combat. Now as many others are pointing out, the latency and frames problems. It needs work, a lot of it. I was able to fight off a wolf, but it wasn't easy fighting through the delays. with work and some hardcore optimization, I'm certain this would be relatively enjoyable. It's early access so I'm not going to make a big stink about content and customization.
Не работает...
Originally a negative review. I was whining about the spiders being a bit too aggressive in packs of 6 and running away when low on health. Guess what, the developer, the next day, nerfed them a bit. Now they are tolerable. This review is now a positive. Why? Guy's....this is Everquest 1, with housing anywhere, for free. Sure, the graphics suck. But its free folks. Sick of all the monetization from Daybreak games with regards to EQ1? None of that crap here. You can buy mounts for cash but they are easily obtainable in game as well with a bit of grinding. This solo project is worth watching if you've exhausted every other old school mmo out there.
