Ruin is a free to play survival sci-fi sandbox MMORPG indie game where you try to survive on mankinds attempt to colonize a distant planet. Chances are stacked against you, but don't give up. You are most likely the last human alive. It is up to you and you alone to do what you must to stay alive.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

For now, it's just an alpha version of an MMO with crafting. There's not much content yet, the game struggles to run above 40 FPS, and the ping often reaches 150 ms, so it's hard to recommend it with a positive review. The crafting system seems fairly straightforward, but I couldn't figure out how to make a simple iron bar. I couldn't find any iron ore anywhere. Maybe it's all being farmed by other players, so there's basically nothing I can do right now except kill wolves and spiders while I wait. The inventory is ridiculously small. You kill two or three wolves, gather a few rocks or some wood, and you're already out of space. I'll give it another try in a few weeks or months because the game has potential, but at the moment it still needs a lot more development time.
Number of client crashes: 16 and counting Somewhat confusing gameplay? Yes One server and a high ping? Yes Graphics: Commodore 128 era Pushing a hotbar key does nothing for 3-6 secosnds? You bet! Digging a hole where you fall into it and cant get out and have to delete your character? Y E S! Clipping through walls and npc wolves and spiders charging at you upside down and blinking? Yes! Changing graphics to low or off does nothing to raise your fps which sits between 11-14? Yep To get a exact feeling of playing this game, throw yourself down a long flight of stairs.

this is hot ahh ran like poop even though it looks like poop the controls are abysmal like super dook... didnt get far when it felt way to poo to play give me likes for my thoughtful review ty
Has a good amount of development being done at this moment. In time it will be good, but even now it has something worth playing
Fun. i'm enjoying it a lot, has an old mmorpg feel to it. If you're into older mmos and don't mind playing during development then i'd say give it a shot! Dev is constantly working on updates for content and performances and very active!
great game. loving it so far, yes there is few bugs but they are being fixed by the dev. hope yall enjoy it!. and dont mess with my trees!
It was kinda fun. My suggestion would be to be able to make the text on the signs bigger. I have to put my reading glasses on and get up close to the screen to read the signs, either that or have a fairy tutorial to convey messages.
Its a work in progress but its been fun! Me and my guild mates are almost max level :)
I wont lie, My first impressions weren't great. But, if you stick with it for a little bit and figure out how things work and what's going on, The game really opens up and grows on you. The housing system is really cool, same with the terraforming/mining system. The game has more of a sandbox MMO feel due to there not being any quests, personally I prefer it that way. Things definitely need to be smoothed out a bit and some bugs need to be fixed. Overall Id say its a good start to what could be a really fun MMO, it has heart and that's what counts.
