I mean the ai always seems to just have its way

Been looking for a Rugby game. I'm a beginner and I like this game after understanding some of the controls. Kicking is the hardest part to understand what buttons to use. I like this game/

Dont try to play with a playstation controller. Button mapping makes no sense and no way to re map them. All controls are told to you on xbox controller with no tutorial. No way to sprint.

Good rugby game for cheap! Graphics aren't to die for, but definitely has some replayability. I wish you could have an expanded tournament mode with retirees and new players, but the different difficulties make up for that.

this is actually better than rugby challenge 4 that couldnt quite improve the movement and gameplay mechanics of Rugby challenge 3 which was really close to creating something truly special. If you combined this with the graphics of rugby challenge, you might actually have a decent rugby game.

Sadly the gameplay is just too clunky.

Très bon jeu, au niveau du gameplay le rugby est très bien retranscrit. On peut regretter une manque de modes de jeu (pourquoi pas permettre de créer de A à Z un championnat, des équipes, etc. car le mode de personnalisation est assez limité).

The best simulation of rugby gameplay I've played in years, but it comes with some MAJOR issues. - Substitution - The substitution system is a mess. For one, if you sub a player in and then he gets injured, it will not allow you to sub them again. You can't move players you've subbed in around your lineup either. Also if you make a substitution you didn't intend to make, a remove button appears next to that substitution, but if you click the remove button, it treats it like you backed out of the substitution screen. - Offside - Sometimes calls erroneous offside penalties. If I move to tackle 10, he gets the ball off to 12, who has run some meters, putting me in what would be offside position should there be a tackle and a ruck, but instead 12 gets hit in the passage of play and drops the ball, and I'm trying to scoop up the ball, I am not offside. And if 10 then picks up the ball and I tackle him, I am not offside. Getting called offside bc you went for a loose ball after a good hard hit from a teammate only to be called offside, often giving up 3 or a lineout in your own 22, it's VERY frustrating. I really wish this exact game got a sequel. If it had these exact mechanics with a tiny bit more polish, bugfixes like offside and substitutions, and hell, better graphics, why not, then I'd legit pay 60 for it. If it had good team and player creation too, make it 80
