About
Become Passus Pulpum: A humble peasant with a steady hand, one splintered toothpick, and a dream to save the mouths of the people of Bocalia (and maybe win the heart of the Princess while he's at it).
Royal Dental is a quirky dental simulation RPG where you diagnose ailments, pull teeth, perform treatments, and rise through the social ranks of a kingdom that most certainly does not take oral hygiene seriously.
Treat peasants, servants, merchants, nobles, and eventually the beloved Princess Penelope Calahan herself, all while outsmarting the jealous Prince Daniel Silvertongue, who will do anything to sabotage your practice and steal your spotlight.
Each morning brings a new lineup of unfortunate mouths in need of help.
Diagnose conditions like cavities, rotten teeth, fractures, gum infection, and more.
Then decide how to approach each case:
Use anesthetic (or don’t… their screams build character)
Sanitize your tools
Pick the correct instrument
Perform the procedure
Waive the fee, charge a fair price, or gouge them for all they’ve got. Just remember the people of Bocalia talk.
Every choice affects patient happiness, outcomes, and your climb through the land’s social strata.
Progress through distinct quadrants of Bocalia, from muddy peasant villages to the gold-trimmed halls of the Royal Palace.
Unlock new tools, learn advanced dental techniques, upgrade your clinic, and complete Tooth Trials to earn permanent Wisdom Tooth Buffs, powerful upgrades that help you in your craft.
Your journey from dirt-poor dentist to elite healer is driven entirely by your skill and decisions.
Your daily routine is yours to shape. With action-based time progression, each day you can:
Treat as many patients as you can handle. Your reputation affects how many patients show up, and how much they trust you.
Visit the town square to buy tools and supplies, educational texts, and new furniture for your clinic.
Study dental texts to improve your techniques.
Prince Daniel Silvertongue is your persistent thorn.
He spreads rumors, steals your tools, disrupts patient flow, and grows more aggressive with his sabotage as you rise through the ranks.
Your final and greatest challenge.
Princess Penelope’s teeth are... well... legendarily awful. Restoring her smile will require everything you’ve learned, every upgraded tool you’ve bought, and every ounce of courage Passus has left.
Your success determines not just her fate, but your own.
Royal Dental doesn’t shy away from the sounds of medieval dentistry:
Crunching tooth extractions
Gagging, choking, and spitting from your patients
Drills, tooth scrapers, scalpels cutting flesh
Passus muttering, reacting, and talking through his day
Unique background music for every location in Bocalia
And if any of that makes your stomach turn, don’t worry. Music, voice lines, and all SFX can be turned off or volume-adjusted independently.
A fun 3 hours. If you're a completionist, make sure to buy everything and read all books quickly once you reach the palace.
This game was a lot fun! The gameplay loop is easy to pick up, but it doesn't hold your hand either. It let's you dive right in and make mistakes on what to upgrade/buy but doesn't punish you to heavily for making those mistakes. The music is also fantastic.
