I have played the game for 6 hours now and feel that the game lack the element of fun. One contributing factor is that it is very laggy for me. I don't have a high end gamer PC, but the reqs for the game should not be wild. i5-9400, 64 GB RAM, GTX 1650 4GB VRAM. It starts fine but it will in any level soon become quite laggy. Also I lack a sense of achievement. I will have powerups nomatter if I complete a level or not. There is good ideas in the game. And the lag issue I believe is something that could be dealt with. I think it would make the game tolerable. But fun? I doubt it. I paid ~5 € which was fine for what I have had out of it. The full price of 10 € is a bit too much in the current state.
The game is very laggy. There are a lot of systems but they are poorly explained. Only one type of towers is vastly superior to all others, so the gameplay is very one-sided: just spam this tower mixed with some shields and that's all.
45% off right now, which is a reasonable price. Dunno if I would pay full price. I had fun with it back in the day, it has a good meta game grind.

wciąga ale tez wiesza sie na maksa. - mam 32gb ramu i 16 rdzeni :o very pleyable game, sadly laggy as hell - i have 32gb ram and 16 cores :o i cant belive how this will be woring on old pc in endgame :o
Graphics are basic, and game play is interesting. Very re-playable with a simple, easy to use interface.
Needs interface work but lots of fun. The buttons to build towers are the same size and shape as the towers themselves so it needs adjustment. also very easy to accidentally click an upgrade when it pops up mid-play (this happens several times each level) At first the balance seems like a mess but then you realize every level unfolds completely differently and what worked for one may not work on another. Except the artillery guns ("Juggernaut"?) - those are always OP :)
Initial Review: 24_0201 I'll start off by saying, the hours I've played are indicative of how much I love the core game loop. It has some serious potential and hits that sweet spot for me almost perfectly. But unfortunately I can not recommend anyone purchase this in it's current form. At least, not for it's current asking price of 9.99. That is unless you're a glutton for tower defense punishment like me. TLDR: Other than the performance issues mentioned by many, I find that even if you manage to handle the performance hits well, the scaling and near total lack of adequate player feedback, will eventually ruin it. Even after 70 Hours of grinding. . .. ... ... The verbose version ... ... .. . If you manage to push through the first few hours of grinding - which YOU WILL be doing a lot of, so embrace it - scaling in every mission ramps up absurdly at around the 15+ minute mark, and really doesn't get much easier to deal with. Even with several dozen hours of grinding meta progress, you will routinely get ROFLStomped, anywhere after that 15 minutes, out of the blue, by basic enemies... let alone if you're unlucky enough to reveal the boss. And I'm not talking about a oh it's getting rough, so I need to reinforce things... No. I'm talking, everything has been a total cake walk, managed to get lucky on level ups, making plenty of resources, all good... *Sudden Message of Massive Structural Damage* ... Huh? Where? *** PAUSE *** Zoom out, scroll around... Ugh... (( Resign, re-start )) Not joking. No warning... Nothing... Game Over. Oh, you can try to fight it, but you're wasting your time. Whatever just walked out of the fog of war, on some distant part of the map, has somehow become un-kill-a-ble. Unlike 98% of everything else that's spawned so far that clock cycle, this pack of rolling giant spheres seems bullet proof, and is smashing though EVERYTHING, no matter how well fortified you try to make things. That is the rough nature of the overall experience at this time 24_0201. It works. It's damn fun... But it lacks adequate reward and player feedback in ways that will often offset that fun with total frustration. And believe me when I say that once you've unlocked enough meta progress, you'll be chugging through the first 10 minutes of any mission without breaking a sweat, and leaving a veritable leviathan of a base in your wake... Until the inevitable. Considering that the last 30 or so hours of grinding has not helped me push very far past the 20 minute WALL, despite unlocking an absolute SH*T TON of rare meta progress like re-rolls, increases rarity rolls, starting mission levels, multiple specializations, and even mission start wallets with enough cash to plant half a dozen towers before the first enemy spawns... COMBINED with crazy lucky map gen giving me 20+ data centers (extra levels each minute), and focusing on all the possible DPS improvements I can get in 200+ levels... You guessed it... Roflstomped shortly after the 20 minute mark.
Incredibly boring grind on higher levels, poor UI outside of battle.
If it's on sale yes it is worth 5 bucks. Is it great ....? NO Can it be fun ..... actually yes to a point after certain point no it stops being fun. the reason it stops being fun is the extremely hard grinding factor. This game employs rogue lite feature and that is were the grinding factor comes in. The main problem is your tiny amount of percentages do not level with enemy's of the game and at certain point you just fall behind. At this point you have to go back down the levels you just unlocked and grind for about 12 hours of game play to reach one level above what you could do before. What that boils down to is you get about 36 hours of fun and then you hit the wall you put the game off for how ever long come back here and there spend hour on it leave it for week maybe two weeks collect tiny amount of percentages of say 12 hours worth try the last level you lost week back and with skin of your teeth you might win it congratulations! now your on a new planet AND EVERY BATTLE is like the last one you need 12 hours of grinding lower levels to pick percentages to might ....... might pass the next level. That is when it stops being fun. At this point you need to start cheating to have fun once more.
