Game had potential, but sadly enough the Devs abandoned the game and never looked back... DO NOT BUY, the damn game should honestly be removed and the Devs black listed from using Steam to ever release another game
First off whilst i wholeheartedly reccomend this game do not buy it if you expect to be able to do everything straight away the crafting system is a game all on its own and the learning curve is insane ,don't think you will be able to craft a nuclear reactor with 2 twigs and some sticky tape like some survival games you earn every single piece of equipment you make here and for that reason i love it and also hate it at the same time. every single item you build has different components which in turn might need other components and new tools etc etc so you spend LOTS of time switching between tools to make different items whilst juggling your food, water radiation and power consumption levels and some of the later model machines you build need an insane amount of materials/time to make. So if you like to actually have to think to survive and plan and react in a game realistic way then buy it now it will not dissapoint if you want a quick twitch fix then move along this is not the game you are looking for. Pros a very good looking game (unreal engine so no rreal surprise) a huge game world to explore a even bigger crafting tree that you can work through Devs seem very active and take on board honest feedback Cons Gets laggy for no apparent reason Random crashes Huge crafting tree that sucks up all your time ( yes its pro and con) overall if your willing to except that it is a EA online game with all the warts that go along with new games in that style and are willing to spend some time with it then go for it , if not then it is most definately one to watch for later.

I'm not going to give an exhaustive review of the gameplay, because unfortunately Rokh never had the chance to evolve into an actual game before it died. It was a sandbox tech demo with a lot of promise and a lot of mystery surrounding the path of development and intended result, but in the end mystery turned out to be indecision and/or lack of depth. Was this going to be a PvP game? Who knows, depends on who you ask... it certainly isn't remotely close to that now. Was it going to have a deep backstory with NPC's and factions and interactive points among the first wave wreckage? If so, that's a lot of work to not have been started yet... that's the sort of thing they could have been doing while the code monkeys were butchering the code. Or was it really intended to be yet another aimless environmental survival game where you basically build and craft just to see how long you can last? I'm also not going to rehash the drama of the "game"'s development cycle. Darewise mismanaged the project, and the developer they hired ♥♥♥♥ the bed. The end result was a half-baked buggy mess that can't be defined, and the last bit of money left over from a failed kickstarter and meager EA sales went towards bug-fixing and server code rewrites... which seemed like a great effort to at least make the game "playable"... only one look at the servers tells you it's still not, not really. I originally wrote this review in May, expressing pessimism that anyone would come along and throw a suitcase of cash at a stalled project with no significant innovations, drama and financial baggage, a bad rep and a pissed-off community. It's now bordering on 2019 and it's safe to say the game is DEAD. What I still can't figure out, honestly, is how the game's owners ethically rationalize keeping a barely-functioning multiplayer game with a daily max login of 2-3 people, whose official servers are in danger of disappearing off the face of the earth at any moment (for all I know they already have), is still on sale for $19.99. Which is $10 more than they said it would be in their "brutally transparent" goodbye post in September, and $19.99 more than should be paid for the priviledge of playing it. The game should have been removed from sale many months ago pending SOME kind of meaningful news or decision regarding the game's status, and I think the decision to do otherwise is reprehensible. It should go without saying, but I'll say it clearly: You should not be buying into this stalled project. If you really love the premise, follow it... If it ever becomes a game, you'll know.
trash game that had lots of promises and once they got the money they threw us under the bus and ran
I had jumped on the band wagon a bit late in the development of this game, even after googling more about this game and finding the result that the game has been abandoned or placed on a shelf to be worked on later when funding is available. Of course I ignored that and went and bought the game, finding out that the only server that may have been online (if any) have all but vanished from existence. I went about to rent a server from a specific service with hope that it would work, however with one hour of time, the server turns up nothing playable and does not event show in the browsing servers tab (still waiting for it to appear). Apart from that the game has run quite smooth when I found a tutorial to run the game locally. There were some hicups due to Hardware limitations such as CPU Cycles but ran all the same event when streaming to Twitch. In conclusion, at the current state of the game, I cannot recommend the game, however, if you would like to see the game grow, bug the dev to open a Patreon or something. Hope to see this game develop into something more as it has potental.
Unsupported and incomplete game, do NOT buy stuff distributed by DareWise!
Shoulda just got space engineers.
Dead game and the developers have run away with the money..in fact I’ve hear there trying another one of theses stunts. In other words its a scam.
they gave up and took our money.
Das Spiel ist das allerletzte. Keine Server vorhanden und anscheinend komplett eingestellt. Geld zurück Fehlanzeige. Anscheinend zu lange gespielt. Aber wie soll man da überhaupt spielen. Da geht ja garnichts. Danke Steam. Volle verarsche
