In the current state this game is in, I'd not recommend it to anyone. First of all the movements feel so sluggish, it's like moving underwater and just drags out the time to play. It's cute and interesting in concept, but it just lacks so much to be enjoyable. And honestly, it reminds me a lot more of a mobile platformer, than something build for console or PC. There is no story behind it, which would be fine if I'd at least get some introduction or intro of what my goal is supposed to be even be while exploring the stages. And I noticed that the translation is also awkward in some places, nothing game breaking like the slow running, but still a minor pet peeve. So, don't buy, unless you're ready to spend a lot of time trying to reach the next stage at a snail's pace. I finished the first stage in under 30min and didn't even need to restart a boss fight. Most of the time consumed was because of the awkward controls and the, and I repeat, slow running pace. My first impression wasn't good and I doubt any further in the game can be good based on others reviews I saw about this game.
Yikes, this feels like someone tried to make a mobile port of Dungreed but gave up after nailing the movement mechanics. Utterly soulless, generic and bland.
A cute and charming pixel roguelite with character customization and randomly generated maps. It gets pretty repetitive and a bit boring with how empty the maps are, but I still find some enjoyment in it personally. I'd grab it on sale if you can but don't expect too much from it.
Not even worth spending time writing an actual review for this game....
Feels very unpolished. Terrible level design on non-generated levels. Boring short looping music (highly recommending to turn it off if you want to play this). Combat was okay, progression for most part was ok. Dumb grind/difficulty spike near end that either requires you to grind RNG falling materials or get lucky with enemy projectiles as they are shot at complete random. Equipment, upgrades of it and variety is next to non-existing. A lot of confusing wording ingame. There are some non-translated strings too.
The control does not feel good to me, I don't like the combat mechanic. The game itself has a nice concept I can see people grind to relax but I can't recomand even to them since controls is not there , espically combat and jumping was bad for me
Mildly enjoyable, but very janky and repetitive. Cheap hits abound, movement is floaty and imprecise, and the spike traps on ledges are total BS. Seems to be cobbled together with store-bought assets and scotch tape. Not bad for second screen entertainment while watching TV, though; wouldn’t want to devote my full attention to it. Pick it up on sale if at all.
The sense of the game can be to complete the combat areas to unlock more equipment to be crafted, buy skills of the character and increase the player's skill in the game in the process so that for the player tries to be the first in the leaderboard of some area. The longevity of the game can be based on grind to improve the favorite equipment to make the character stronger and the player being able to use the grind to play and relax for example. The game also has internal achievements in the form of "quests" that give equipment and "gold". ------------------------------------------------------- Positive Points: + The 2D art is good to see. + It has good music to listen like the first area after the tutorial and the ice area IMO. + Roguelike feeling in battle areas mainly in procedural mode. + The main character can be cute. + A lot of grind especially if the player wants to upgrade a lot of different equipment, for those who like grind. ------------------------------------------------------- Negative Points: - Maybe not for everyone but if you put the game in fullscreen some images are blurry, and in this case, if you are going to play in windowed mode, there is no option to hold the mouse in the game window. - Keyboard button configuration cannot be adjusted by the player, the fact that the player can use the mouse lessens this problem. - Traps in some cases can be unfair, the fact that their damage is not very large reduces this problem. - I don't know if this is true for everyone, but sometimes the long jump fails and becomes a small jump, maybe a bug. - I sometimes like to grind but in this game I feel the lack of something like a shop that sells crafting materials for "gold" and additionally can exchange craft materials for "gold". - It seems that more in-game events are needed to alleviate so much grind, like maybe a minigame or something else, currently the game has 3 situations: improving the character in the base, fighting in the combat areas, fighting the boss. - A lot of grind especially if the player wants to upgrade a lot of different equipment, for those who don't like grind. ------------------------------------------------------- Recommended because of positive points.
