About
In Rock and Stone, you are a dwarf on a mission to get rich! While you'll be mining rocks and collecting valuable loot, your true fortune is made in the player-driven market. You'll need to decide whether to sell the items you find to other players or use them to speed up your own mining. With no pay-to-win in-game purchases, your success depends entirely on your gear, luck, and determination.
Rock and Stone is a game that works for you, even when you're not playing. You will mine rocks in the background, automatically gathering Steam items. You can either sell these items on the market for a profit or open them for new gear and gold. You can occasionally click to use a limited stamina reserve to speed up mining manually. You can also purchase in-game buffs with gold you find, giving you temporary boosts. The stronger your gear, the faster you can mine and the better your chances of finding rare treasures.
Items come in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Each rarity provides stronger stats and bigger bonuses. There are 11 stats that affect your mining, including:
Magic find
Damage, crit chance and crit damage multiplier
Experience
Buff and gold chance
Buff duration and gold amount
Stamina regeneration
Auto-mining speed
You can equip various types of gear, such as rocks, pickaxes, and pickaxe mods, to improve these stats and become an even more effective miner.
While mining, you have a chance to find gold and temporary buffs. You can also buy longer-lasting buffs with gold at any time. There are four types of buffs that can give you a boost, including:
Increased damage
More experience
Faster auto-mining
Faster stamina regeneration
Reforge functionality allows you to combine 12 items of the same rarity into one new item of the next higher rarity Look out for secret recipes that don't require all 12 items! A gold cost, which varies based on the item rarity, is associated with each reforge. You can enable Reforge mode using the button in your in-game inventory. Type of the output item is affected by the distribution of the input items types.

Artifacts are collectible items that grant stat bonuses to your character as long as they remain in your Steam inventory. They’re passive, and persistent. Each artifact provides fixed bonuses. Bonuses are automatically applied when the artifact is in your Steam inventory—no need to convert them to game items, equip or activate. Artifacts come in multiple rarities, just like other in-game items. The higher the rarity, the stronger and more numerous the bonuses.
Rock and Stone
Rock and Stone ist kein überdurchschnittliches Idle/Clicker Game. Aber man kann damit Spaß haben, wenn man auf solche Art von Games steht. Das gute daran, man kanns kostenlos selbst antesten und gegebenenfalls gleich wieder löschen. Oder wie ich paar hunderte Stunden reinbuttern.
As a fan of clicker games this one is the bottom of the barrel. like under the damn floor bottom! Its not fun, its pretty damn boring! It has no real play factor on top of being an idle game we like to play an click from time to time. this one has a wait period or stam bar if you will on how long you can click like a mad man or women, i find it very cheap and happy i didnt pay for anything. Yes its free but i wouldn't waste your time. i thought id give it a try but would rather play much better clicker idle games instead of a hungry dev just trying to make a buck off a garbage game. You cant even load the steam shop to see whats there. Something im sure the dev will fix before anything just so they can steal some money off a lame game. please dont make anymore games! my 17 year old can produce a better game and they are still in highschool. Ill also add that i think the lame loot drops are a ploy to get people thinking they will make some money off the game but in return you wont. its just bait so dont get suckered in. this is one game that should get voted off the steam games list. I seen no way to close game and be sure things get saved. prob wont be playing this one again.
Fun item collecting game where you mine for minerals with a pickaxe. You can upgrade several components of the pickaxe with parts that give different bonuses, and charms and artifacts also to improve your performance in the mines. There are unknown secret crafting recipes and limited-edition seasonal parts to obtain, it's really the perfect setup. Steam items get 'consumed' into becoming game-items, but you can refine them down to higher-quality components, ensuring the market won't just become flooded with useless items, but can create very scarce and rare items like the Halloween pommel-mod, once those get added to people's accounts they cannot be re-sold to the market, except artifacts don't need to be consumed to use. Definitely some cool mechanics to this one and worth playing and upgrading your setup to the best gear you can get to try and find some of those rare seasonal parts!

There is nothing to this game. It seems like just another inventory flipper. The coin you get to buy boosts which last 99 seconds takes hours to get. Total crap really. There is also Achievements that will take a LONG time to do. They have a clicker one thats insane and you cant use a clicker because you have stam and use that every time you click. That seems like a trap to me. If it takes a year or more ot get it then its a trap. It also has collect mining items as drops but you only get 1 maybe 2 a day and the achievements make it to where it will take you forever to get them. Im sick of these traps. Not many people want to be locked into an idle game for years. There is nothing to this game so anything over a couple months of play is insane. Edit: Im only at 1.5 million clicks out of the 26M they want me to click with limited clicks. Its to low to limit clicks and make an an insane Achievement for clicks. Thats the trap in this one.
One of the best games of it's genre and my personal favorite. Lovely ambience to just leave in the background and enjoy the sweet sound of your pickaxe mining. I personally really enjoy checking the loot I got after a long day at work then selling what's valuable on steam's marketplace. The game is consistent with it's updates and events, the developer ( Pinecone Studios ) is very polite and add free redeemable codes on the official discord. Hope to see this gem grow in popularity !
Enjoying this mini-game! Just finding it a few days ago while looking for some more Idle games to check out. It's more than meets the eye. Read some negative comments here that don't make much sense to me, but this game should be tagged "+Patience" in Steam. There is depth to the gameplay slowly grinding out objects that are needed to advance and upgrade parts of your pickaxe. In-person you can take advantage of the periodic XP or damage boosts, or go AFK and let the pick do its thing. Nothing to shoot or kill here. First time I am really getting into the Steam Marketplace too. Bought some starter items (blue rocks and pickaxe parts) for a few pennies to give me a boost and I am grinding out stuff now that I can put back on Steam to sell for, well, more pennies. There are some higher tier items on Steam Marketplace being sold by other players that get into the dollars. You can grind them out yourself too if you spend some time leveling up your gear, or you can "Reforge" batches of items to the next tier. No need to spend money either, you can grind with the starter gear and work your way up. BTW, you won't know an new item's specific boosts are until you "open" it, and once you open it is "used" and you cant sell it, but can be used in reforging when no longer needed. Rocks get ground down and used up (destroyed), but can be used to reforge if you pull them out before they are totally gone. The Devs have been updating the game and adding new item drops, I like that. Guessing this game is much better now than when it dropped a few months ago. I did not see it then. Looks like game is funded by the Steam Marketplace item order transaction fees (15%), which seems reasonable to me. Hope they hang in there and keep it going and hope more players give it a try, maybe they will like grinding rock!
As I DRG fan when I heard there was a game called Rock and Stone I had to try it. I’ve never tried a clicker before, so I didn’t have any expectations going in. The gameplay loop is simple enough, but it really scratches the “number go up” itch that I eternally have. The biggest draw for me is the way items interact with the marketplace. You can buy/sell/trade items before bringing them into the game and determining their stats. I am a sucker for a game with a player market, so I’m locked in. Dig deep miners!
