"Robot Daycare" is a charming visual novel that combines heartwarming storytelling with adorable characters and thought-provoking themes. Set in a world where robots coexist with humans, the game follows the journey of a group of robotic caretakers tasked with looking after children in a futuristic daycare center. One of the standout features of "Robot Daycare" is its delightful cast of characters. From the caring and compassionate caregiver robots to the curious and energetic children they look after, each character is wonderfully fleshed out and endearing in their own right. The interactions between the robots and the children are filled with genuine warmth and humor, making it easy to become emotionally invested in their relationships. The narrative of "Robot Daycare" is equally engaging, exploring themes of friendship, identity, and what it means to be human in a world increasingly dominated by technology. Through its branching storylines and multiple endings, the game encourages players to reflect on their own values and beliefs, adding a layer of depth and replayability to the experience. Visually, "Robot Daycare" is a treat for the eyes. The colorful, hand-drawn artwork brings the world to life in vivid detail, while the character designs are both distinctive and expressive. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, ensuring that players can focus on immersing themselves in the story without any distractions. In terms of gameplay, "Robot Daycare" is relatively straightforward, with most of the emphasis placed on reading dialogue and making choices that influence the direction of the story. While some players may prefer more interactive elements, such as puzzles or minigames, the game's focus on storytelling is its greatest strength, allowing players to become fully engrossed in the lives of its characters. Overall, "Robot Daycare" is a delightful visual novel that offers a heartfelt and thought-provoking experience. Whether you're a fan of the genre or simply looking for a heartwarming story to enjoy, this game is sure to leave a lasting impression. With its charming characters, engaging narrative, and beautiful artwork, "Robot Daycare" is a must-play for anyone with a soft spot for robots and a love of storytelling.

They weren't kidding about the 2 endings being WILDLY different.... Overall though it was a wonderful Visual Novel! Makes me want to adopt my own little robot child!
starting to think i may be the only person who likes this game
"Robot Daycare" isn't a game, it's a cringey non-game high school anime club dropout fan-fiction that's been dumped on Steam into the games section. As a visual novel, it doesn't have any gameplay. It's just a lot of clicking through bad, cringe dialogue that no real publisher would ever accept. When people can't get their work published in print, they pay the $100 fee to dump their fan-fiction here instead, where we have to put up with it when looking for things that are actual PC games. This e-book eschews the usual high school anime fan club dropout fan-fiction writing about the author and his imaginary girlfriend (sad how many e-books on Steam cover this topic), and instead deals with the authors acceptance of his fate and instead relies on creating an AI child in college as the only form of procreation available to him. Now, raising an AI should be a charming experience, we may remember the TV show "Small Wonder" or "Not Quite Human", but somehow the author of this garbage fan-fiction managed to find a way to make it creepy, and also at the same time still so badly written. This was made using the Ren'Py kit, which lets people who aren't developers create godawfully bad e-books that they then pretend are actually PC games. Just like no real writing talent was involved in this garbage, it's no surprise that no real software development happened here either. Ren'Py is just a shortcut for polluting the store with non-game e-book garbage. Visual novels are tedious at best. Imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or Twilight (kidding), but translate it to a format where you've to click your mouse for every single sentence instead of just turning pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that clicking experience, but with utterly cringe anime club fan-fiction writing. If the author had any talent, this would have been published in print, instead, it's on Steam. This garbage only ended up on Steam because they paid $100 to self-publish since no real publisher would take them. There's no reason for this to be on Steam when it could just be a webpage... e-books are just a bunch of cringe text and (usually character generator created) static 2D imagery. You don't buy an expensive gaming PC to use it for something your web browser can do for free. Despite having no cost, this failed to appeal to gamers. SteamDB shows it peaked at only 14 concurrent readers. This is a dismal public reception. They couldn't even give it away. To satisfy the global demand for this book, you'd only ever need to print 14 copies. While this e-book's free, you can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries. Steam is for PC games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle or a mobile phone e-book reader. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
Just because it has 2 endings doesn't really make it a "game" - could have easily stayed a web novel. Writing/story isn't great, one of the characters is weird towards the "child".
Your honor, they may be stupid
