a quick start game on HTC Vive. Gameplay is simple and direct, enter the arena, pick up the Balls, locate a nice position and throw the ball, pick up one more and destory more robots. will keep an eye on this one since only one gameplay now, quite a potential one.
和玩家互扔很有意思,反应快点的话可以接到其他人扔的球,推荐~
New Negative review 5 Jan 2025 = RoboSports VR was a free VR sports game collection. I tried this on my new Win 11 gaming computer, with HTC Vive and Index. When i clicked on the multiplayer it says "the server is down". This game was released Nov 2016, it is 2025 and still in Early Access. Store description says "RoboSports is a vast collection of online multiplayer sports games! Our first game, Crazy Dodgeball" Where is the rest of the sports they are talking about? Last update and new from Devs was in Nov 2016. Looks like the devs abandoned it. Do Not bother to download now. Old Positive review 2018 = RoboSports VR is a free VR sports game collection? It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. The lobby worked ok. You can only play the Dodgeball game vs computer. The single player part still worked and i though it was ok. Had some interesting touch like a window around the arena and cameras to take pictures. You have to lead your teleport way ahead of a ball to be in position to pick it up as it rolls by. Throwing the ball at a bot is tricky because they are teleport a lot, have to time the throw at one that just appeared or is standing around. CONS: - When i clicked on the multiplayer it says "the server is down". - This game was released Nov 2016, it is 2018 and still in Early Access. - Store description says "RoboSports is a vast collection of online multiplayer sports games! Our first game, Crazy Dodgeball" Where is the rest of the sports they are talking about? - Last update and new from Devs was in Nov 2016. - There is no LAN or Local multiplayer mode. - Looks like the devs abandoned it. Try it and delete it.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Note for Oculus users on Windows 10, which should be everyone because it's required now, you do have to do a Windows 7 compatibility fix to get your head above the ground and also to get your motion controllers to work So I'm just going to say it, this game is NOT worth the download. I know it's free. And it runs perfectly fine once you do the above fix. But it's just not worth it. You're better off just playing dodgeball in Rec Room. And if you want to know why, then keep reading. You could try playing dodgeball in RoboSports VR, but there is no MP. Server doesn't even work anymore. Okay, so you're playing solo against robots. There's like a 2-3 second delay in between teleports once you're inside the arena. The objective is just like real life dodgeball, except you can teleport all around (no staying on your side) and there's some barriers and a teleporter. The ball physics doesn't seem right when throwing, bouncing, or catching. Does that sound fun? Keep in mind the AI is just dumb. After you hit them, they will just pop back in to the arena from out of nowhere. Is anybody even keeping score? Doesn't seem like it. So wha'ts the point? There is none. You'll want to hit yourself in the head with the dodgeball. Rate 3/10. Abandoned free EA. It actually *HAD* potential.
I'm just doing it for statistics ^.^ Have a nice day

"RoboSports VR" is a rather pooly made collection of VR exclusive PvP sports games with... well, no players. Unsurprising given the low fidelity visual presentation. PvP games need a huge number of players to go viral, and without that critical mass, they fail. Designing a game for the very tiny subset of gamers that use VR, and yet hoping for a critical mass of gamers is the kind of game design decision that kills a game before the first line of code is written. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. It's free for now, but the developer intends to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access... but considering the poor public reception, it's likely this will not be one of the 25% of games that ever gets finished and leaves Early Access. In this case the developer abandoned the game over 8 years ago. It's completely dead. No players, no developer. It's just polluting Steam. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
