I met the developer in Toomanygames 2016. He introduced me to this game, and I instantly liked it. I thought it was a great idea, and was really amazed by the unique gameplay mechanics. I followed him on twitter to see the updates on the game, and I have to commended to following through with this project. He is just one person working on this game (I believe). So working on a game like this, especially with fixing all the bugs can be very challenging. The problem is the Marketing for this game was barely none existing, and that really hurt the life of this game. Not saying this game is dead (even though the online multiplayer is). I'm just saying that maybe he could have gave some free codes to some huge twitch influencers, and get the hype going for this game. From what I've played, I would say that I like what I see. I don't think the game is worth $14.99 but rather a solid $9.99. If the Online multiplayer was packed with 50 players readily available to challenge online (or even more) then I would say the price would totally be worth it. I would have rather the developer take out the online multiplayer and put some more modes or something different. It's been 7 months and barely any updates about the game. I think it's better to bring this game over to the Nintendo Switch, and hopefully he'll have more luck with the game over there than on steam. I recommend the game though.
I don't generally play puzzle games, but I tried this one after getting it from the developer at the GDC. I like the game's aesthetic work, which is something that the dev clearly put much time into (I'm not a fan of the pixelated font, though, and the fact -to me, at least- the characters sometimes don't stand out too clearly from the backgrounds). Besides this, I found it pretty fun as well! I recommend this for puzzle game fans. Gonzalo Varela
Very unique and fun puzzle game that kind of simulates a fighting game in a sense (kind of like Puzzle Fighter). I'm hoping more people start to play online.
it's an ok game, but i just dont feel even close to hooked by the core gameplay. and there isnt really anything else that i would say is particularly good about this game
I can't recommend the game, though I don't feel it's in any way bad; perhaps Steam should revisit their rating system. While the core gameplay is generally enjoyable and pretty novel, there's not a whole lot to do in the game aside from an arcade mode that offers such little challenge on easy and medium (which by the point I got to it I found easier than easy) that I skipped hard entirely, and an online mode with no players (not really the game's fault, tbf) I'd only recommend it if you are a big fan of versus puzzle games and have a friend to play with locally, then it's a must buy. For the general player though, I would not recommend it.
