About
The heroic icon of English ballads clashes with the forces of the nefarious Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders! Engage in raid defenses as you fend off wave after wave of incoming enemies both by placing structures and having Robin himself leap into the thick of the fight!
Set up a variety of defenses to prepare in advance of the enemy fighters' arrival. Towers, walls, traps, and gates all provide nasty surprises for those who would seek to fuel the Sheriff's greed.
Hire additional soldiers to man the stronghold you create and help defeat the invaders before they take out its central structure!
However, you'll need resources of your own if you're to withstand the growing onslaught, so don't forget to place production buildings alongside fortifications and then balance them to prevail.
With the right resource income, you'll be able to afford upgrades to your current buildings and make them more effective in their purpose.
Robin Hood takes charge of defending the homes of his most loyal allies in the fight against the Sheriff but he can also put his legendary archery and swordsmanship skills to use in the fights.
As a wave of hostile soldiers appears, stand side-by-side with the other brave defenders! The different unit types among your allies and enemies have their strengths and weaknesses, so make the right choices!
As you succeed in battles, you make yourself ready to move on to a new area and unlock rewards in the form of new buildings, new defenses, new warriors, and even new arrows for Robin to use in the fight!

Fun and annoying lol hard to beat some waves it takes a lot of critical thinking
Game is ok , cant find the mods for it and need to have a multi player option because solo player with no resources to build your town is pretty useless lost $10 but oh well

its fun so far
feels similiar to orcs must die, but its not as refined.
Recomendo! Confira a gameplay do jogo no meu canal do Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plLqrHcUxNQ
Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders is an action-strategy hybrid developed by MeanAstronauts and published by PlayWay S.A. together with Ritual Interactive, drawing inspiration from the enduring legend of Robin Hood while reframing it through a tower-defense survival lens. Instead of focusing on open-world exploration or narrative-heavy storytelling, the game centers on repeated defensive scenarios set in and around Sherwood Forest, where players must protect allied structures and positions from waves of enemy forces loyal to the Sheriff of Nottingham. The experience is built around the idea of Robin Hood not just as a heroic archer, but as a battlefield commander who combines planning, construction, and direct combat to hold the line against overwhelming odds. At its core, the gameplay loop revolves around preparation and execution. Before each assault, players gather resources and decide how best to fortify their position using walls, traps, towers, and production buildings. These choices shape the flow of each battle, as enemy units follow predictable paths that can be manipulated through clever placement of defenses. Once the fighting begins, the game shifts perspective by putting the player directly into control of Robin Hood, allowing them to move freely across the battlefield, fire arrows, engage enemies in melee, and support allied units. This blend of strategic oversight and hands-on action is the game’s defining feature, offering a sense of involvement that traditional tower defense games often lack. The early stages of Sherwood Defenders do a good job of selling this hybrid concept. There is a genuine satisfaction in watching enemies funnel into carefully designed choke points while you personally thin their ranks from afar or rush in to deal with threats that slip through. The presence of friendly troops adds another layer to the experience, as their positioning and survivability can influence the success or failure of a defense. These moments capture the fantasy of Robin Hood as both tactician and warrior, and they provide a rhythm that feels engaging during the first few scenarios. As the game progresses, however, its limitations become more apparent. Resource management can feel restrictive, with early decisions having long-lasting consequences that are difficult to recover from later. Defensive structures have relatively limited upgrade paths, which reduces long-term strategic depth and can make later waves feel less like evolving challenges and more like endurance tests. Enemy variety also plays a role in this sense of repetition, as encounters often rely on familiar unit types that differ more in numbers than in behavior. While the difficulty increases, it does not always do so in ways that encourage creative adaptation, sometimes pushing players toward rigid, optimal setups rather than experimentation. From a presentation standpoint, the game is serviceable but modest. The forest environments communicate the setting effectively, but visuals and animations feel closer to functional than expressive, lacking the polish or detail that might make battles visually memorable over long sessions. Character models and effects do their job without standing out, and while the audio design supports combat and atmosphere competently, it rarely elevates the experience beyond its mechanical foundations. The overall aesthetic reinforces the sense of a focused, systems-driven game rather than a richly cinematic one. Community response reflects this balance between solid ideas and uneven execution. Many players appreciate the ambition behind merging direct action with tower defense mechanics and enjoy the novelty of actively fighting alongside their defenses. At the same time, criticisms frequently point to pacing issues, balance concerns, and a lack of variety that can make extended play feel repetitive. For some, the game’s structure and reuse of familiar elements give it the impression of a concept that needed more refinement to fully realize its potential. In the end, Robin Hood: Sherwood Defenders stands as an interesting but imperfect experiment. It succeeds in offering a fresh take on the Robin Hood myth by emphasizing defense, leadership, and tactical planning, and it delivers moments where strategy and action combine in satisfying ways. However, its long-term appeal is limited by shallow progression systems and a gameplay loop that does not evolve significantly over time. Players who enjoy hybrid genres and are intrigued by the idea of personally defending their fortifications may find worthwhile enjoyment in its battles, while those seeking deeper strategy or greater variety may come away feeling that the game hints at a stronger experience than it ultimately delivers.
