This is actually a well-made top-down racing game. The car physics are made pretty well, you brake before the corner, boost gets regenerated when you brake and provides extra acceleration (doesn't increase your top speed), you can handbrake, the RWD car definitely feels like the power is fully transmitted on the rear axle, you can fall into a slide, there are a few of different surfaces that the car behaves differently on. The AI on Pro (=medium) difficulty is quite competent, so there is also some challenge in the races themselves. Music is pretty bland, graphics are OK. For the price (it's free), that's a very, very good game. The requirement to grind and fight your way up through the leagues is kinda meh in my opinion, maybe instead more cars should be unlocked when you go into higher leagues without the need to repair and upgrade your car.

I checked the player count on SteamDB and was very surprised to see that it is dead. I love playing GT7 on my playstation and wanted a racing game I could play on steam. My laptop specs are horrible so I'm limited to 2D games, thats how I found this. It has way more content then I expected from a free game, and a dev that listens to community feedback. The mix of sim/arcade mechanics was done very well and the career progression was too. I hope this game gets "discovered" because it deserves the spotlight.
Decent, not great. Reviewing this for the Autumn Sale badge. But, not a bad pick up for a few bucks on sale.
Nice Racing game. Top Down Perspective is a bit difficult, but the league and upgrade-system is very, very cool!
Way too grindy and repetitive to be fun, and I guess I could've lowered the difficulty but making the AI suck doesn't seem like a reasonable way to get past their OP cars. It also doesn't help that the game is trying to incorporate realistic elements with your traction, etc. but with a top-down game you get so little feedback that the car is just gone before you really have a chance to recover. It either needs to be way more arcade-y and have a more gradual progression with more variety, or it needs to go all-in on the sim aspects. You're somewhere in between and that makes it not fun but also not rewarding
I have almost 4 hours in the game now and I'd say I'm done. It's a fun game but I wish there were more car classes available or more cars available within the upper car classes. As it is I'd say it's worth the price they're charging but the game could be so much more.
