This is a tidy little game. There isn't too much to say about it, since what the game advertises is exactly what you get. There shouldn't be any surprises for you. It's a good, not too serious racing experience with league promotion and relegation which is a really nice touch. New players shouldn't be frustrated by this. I stink - I doubt anyone reading this is as bad at racing games as I am - and I never at any point have felt like I'm totally uncompetitive in the SP mode. I never play MP and can't comment on how good that is. Honestly we need more games like this. It's almost impossible now to find a decent racing game which doesn't require $90 worth of extra peripherals which I'm not willing to clutter up my den with. Overall this is well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Good 2D racer to kill time and muck around in
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system. ⣴⣿⣦⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣼⣿⣿⣿⣷⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣼⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣦⣄⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣤⣤⣶⣶⣿⣿⡗ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠟⠀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠃ ⣿⣿⡇⠜⠙⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠀⠀Got a cat here ⣿⣿⣿⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠋⡹⠙⣿⣿⣿⡇⠀ Friends passing ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣾⣿⣿⠛⠀⠀by can touch her ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡟⠛⠁⠀⠀and click Like to pet ♡ ⣿⣿⡿⠻⠿⠿⠿⠿⠛⠹⠑⠀⠀ Award for good luck, Take My Points for infinite pets ♡ ⠟
OLYMPICS RACING GAME~
Before I played Roadclub: League Racing, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
"Roadclub: League Racing" is a surprisingly genuinely made arcade top down racer game (think 1980's SuperSprint) that... well, doesn't completely suck. I don't think it's giving us much more than SuperSprint did, and this was made in 2019 and published right next to games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Death Stranding... and, err, this. Remember, games don't live in a vacuum. What do you do in the game? Top down arcade racing... lacking a bit of polish, but there's three game modes. This is an old obsolete genre, but the price is okay and there's not a lot of competition. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this (ouch). Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
