Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Reviews
River God: Enshrouded Current is an independent horror title that leans heavily into folklore, supernatural mystery, and atmospheric exploration rather than traditional survival mechanics. Developed and published by Screations, the game invites players into a forgotten riverside settlement where an ancient curse continues to haunt the remnants of a once-thriving community. Built around Chinese myths and spiritual traditions, it immediately distinguishes itself from many horror games by grounding its terror in cultural legends instead of relying solely on familiar monsters or predictable jump scares. The story follows a young woman who finds herself drawn into a tragedy tied to a sinister priest and the forbidden rituals he performed in pursuit of power. As players navigate the abandoned village, they gradually uncover the fate of its inhabitants through environmental clues, ghostly encounters, and narrative fragments scattered throughout the world. The game's approach to storytelling is deliberately restrained, allowing the mystery to unfold piece by piece. This method creates an engaging sense of discovery, rewarding players who pay close attention to the details hidden within every shrine, pathway, and neglected home. Exploration forms the backbone of the experience. River God: Enshrouded Current presents a compact but intricately designed environment that encourages curiosity. Players spend much of their time investigating locations, solving puzzles, and uncovering secrets tied to the village's dark history. The puzzles are integrated naturally into the setting, often drawing from symbolic imagery and ritualistic elements that reinforce the game's themes. While the mechanics themselves remain relatively straightforward, they are effective enough to maintain momentum throughout the adventure without becoming frustrating or overly complex. Atmosphere is where the game shines brightest. Screations has crafted an unsettling world filled with dense fog, dimly lit interiors, and a constant feeling that something unseen is watching from the shadows. The sound design deserves particular praise, as subtle ambient effects and eerie musical cues do much of the heavy lifting in sustaining tension. Rather than overwhelming players with constant threats, the game opts for psychological discomfort, creating moments where silence can feel just as frightening as a direct encounter with the supernatural. This measured approach helps establish an identity that feels more akin to an interactive ghost story than a conventional horror experience. That said, River God: Enshrouded Current is not without its shortcomings. The game's pacing can occasionally feel sluggish, especially during extended stretches of exploration where little occurs beyond moving between objectives. Some players may also find the lack of deeper gameplay systems limiting, as the experience remains focused almost entirely on narrative and atmosphere. Certain animations and interactions reveal the project's modest budget, reminding players that this is a small-scale production rather than a blockbuster horror release. However, these limitations are easier to overlook when viewed through the lens of the game's ambition and thematic consistency. One of the title's greatest strengths is its commitment to cultural authenticity. By embracing Chinese folklore and spiritual beliefs, River God: Enshrouded Current offers something uncommon within the genre. The supernatural elements feel purposeful rather than decorative, lending the narrative a distinct personality that lingers long after the credits roll. It is a game designed for players who appreciate immersive storytelling and methodical exploration over fast-paced action or elaborate combat systems. Ultimately, River God: Enshrouded Current succeeds as a haunting and memorable indie horror experience. It may not reinvent the genre, nor does it possess the production values of larger releases, but it demonstrates a clear creative vision from beginning to end. Its eerie atmosphere, folklore-inspired narrative, and deliberate pacing combine to create an experience that will resonate most strongly with fans of psychological horror and mystery-driven adventures. For those willing to embrace its slower rhythm, the journey into its cursed village offers plenty of chilling moments and a compelling tale buried beneath the mist. Rating: 6/10

Just finished the game. Similar game to the bridge curse, i really enjoyed this and completed the story. Graphics are very dark and realistic. Great game

Nice Asian Theme Indie horror game, was on sale for 2 and this was a very nice experience. Yes this feels like indie because lighting is hard to see with light, but there is a story to follow and puzzles. Also run away from enemies. I would say the sounds are not as atmospheric as i would like but 2 it was still a nice little horror game. Hope you get better and make more games.
