A short, cozy little puzzle game that's well worth your time. The story is genuinely heartfelt and worth experiencing on its own, and some of the puzzles are creative and surprisingly challenging. Good for what it is, and it left me smiling by the end. Best picked up on sale.

It might seem weird that I have 8 hours of playtime on a game that's only been out a day. This is because for the last two years, I have been helping create content to advertise the game. It is my job. This required replaying the game again and again to get the shots I needed. Now, normally, I'm the sort of person who plays a game for the story and never goes back. Despite having played the beginning of Rita many, many times, I still enjoyed it. Sure I could skip things, but it didn't remove the joy of just playing through the game. The puzzles are clever and inventive. I liked the game so much that because I recieved a copy for free, I bought the supporter pack and the soundtrack. It won the Pax Aus showcase for a reason and I think everyone should give it a go, especially if you like crossword puzzles.

Excellent pseudo metroidvania puzzle game. Enjoyable gameplay and platforming. Not too hard, not too easy. Responsive developer. Some cute achievements to collect. Adorable sprites and a memorable game world. Definitely worth the purchase.

although I am not a real 'gamer' this game appealled to me as part of the older generation all the crosswords etc.. I've pregressed through to the second level and have had so much fun keeping ingaged I highly recomended this game to any gereration

This is such a lovely and relaxing game filled with thoughtful puzzles and adorable antics. I've enjoyed following the game through most if not all of it's development and it has absolutely delivered on my expectations. Highly recommend to the cozy, cute, puzzle game lovers crowd!

Rita is a really smart mix of a word game and 3D puzzle platformer, with a gorgeous chunky, low-poly art style, a fabulously laid back soundtrack, all threaded together with a touching story. I found the whole game an absolute delight from start to finish, and at the time of writing, I still have a couple of "memories" to go back and complete. I found the level of challenge of the puzzles exactly on point for me. Really cohesive experience, never felt too easy/too hard, or outstayed it's welcome. Exploration is fun and the interplay between the environment and puzzles is fantastic. Big recommend!
