Endless bugs There are a lot of discussions about game crashes, missing fullscreen, doubled mouse cursor or whatever. Still in 2026, the game is in an awfully buggy state.
In certain spots it's better than risen 2, but it does feel like the main goal was to make everything bigger. More fractions, more weapons, more magic, more spells, more skills. Some of it is really nice, although I have some complaints. For example, combat system is significantly better than the previous risen (both of the games working on the same engine I belive) but its just the action and animation aspect of it. In risen 2 even though both your character and enemy were kinda slow and clunky at the same time, it gave you different dynamics while fighting different mobs. Here in risen 3 melee combat feels like its spamming *fast charged* attacks and then pray that u dont get hit with a move that knocks down your block. Guns are absurdly overpowered, so are crossbows. There's new main character, brother of Patty, that came out of nowhere (Patty looks different again for some reason, even though there's like 30 characters from risen 2 that looked excatly the same), and I wasn't really the biggest fan of him, but later in a game when he slows down on this *baddas pirate* gimmick, he is enjoyable at times. Story in general is just some filler to play old fashioned way of crpgs by piranha, put some story about bad villain, so join one of the 3 guilds and beat him. Biggest issue I have storywise is that characters are more bland than in risen 1 or 2. I swear, aside the mighty Jaffar, every character is just boring and nothing burger. The fact that you can start from like 5 different islands kinda makes the experience worse, because it does feel like every island is just kinda easy to explore. You gonna have some rough times on the very first one you arrive, but then its easier and easier as the time goes by. The game is better in middle than it is at the beggining, maybe it was just my path that I took (started at Tacarigua and then gnome's island), I really had that feeling when I played forsaken gods after gothic 3 (copied characters, copied map, everything is kinda less even though there's more). Thank the god, islands with guilds are well made and interesting. I think that's the first Piranha game in which I hated music, some of the tracks really were making me thinking about muting it ngl. Alot of words above that I've put are harsh and negative, but I did enjoy that 50hrs of play, It still is Piranha game, which I'll always eat up :) Idk if I can straight up recommend it to rpg fan, but it is cheap and really easy too (beat it on ultra difficulty, after 60% of the game i was just running and killing everything in sight while tanking last boss without any health regen - alchemy is absurd, it should never give you +5 to main stats, completely unbalanced)
Her npcnin kafasında quest marker görmemek güzel hissettirdi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nowadays, so many games hold the player's hand that going back to an old-school RPG really makes you realize how much freedom modern developers have taken away. Not seeing quest markers floating above every NPC's head felt surprisingly refreshing. If you're curious enough to walk up and talk to someone, one conversation naturally leads to another, and that's how you discover quests. The game doesn't constantly point everything out on the map either. Most of the time, you have to think things through and figure out your next step on your own. That sense of freedom and discovery is honestly one of the game's biggest strengths. The combat felt pretty awful at first, but as I unlocked more skills—and maybe just got used to it over time—it gradually stopped feeling so bad. There are 3 different factions to choose from, and whichever one you join unlocks its own set of side quests. The armor, weapons, and skills you get are all themed around your chosen faction. The Voodoo Pirates' parrot flight skill turned out to be incredibly useful throughout the game. It was a fun little mechanic that added a refreshing twist to the gameplay. I didn't pay much attention to the companions, though. They just weren't interesting enough for me to care about. I wouldn't say the story is anything particularly special. I think the real appeal is the sense of adventure more than anything else. Anyway, it managed to keep me hooked for a lot of hours, and overall I'm happy I played it. That said, the final chapter felt completely unnecessary. I genuinely got the impression that the developers were just dragging things out to increase game play time. I spent the last few hours forcing myself through it because I was honestly pretty bored. And that final boss... what was that? A human being is supposed to play this game. It felt so unfairly designed that it made me feel more helpless and frustrated than any boss I've fought in a Souls game. If that last chapter had been cut, I think the game would've left a much sweeter lasting impression. I hope we start seeing more games like this in the future of gaming...
ENDE Ist total buggy
You want a game with a glorious story? A hero who fights his way up from the gutter and raises his weapon against demons and the forces of darkness? Not this time my friend. What you actually get: A clunky combat, bugs, a boring story BUT a sister with big tits for no reasons. If you want to force your virtual self into incest with your big tity sister, go for it, this game is for you.
