About
Disclaimer: Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times is designed for 4:3 to relive the 2003 GameCube nostalgia, but play however feels right to you!
Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times is a semi-open world puzzle adventure where you play as a loud-mouthed, hot-headed mage trying to figure out why everyone has disappeared. With 40 magical runes to combine however you want, every challenge is an opportunity to create your own solution.
You start with 4 runes and collect more as you explore the world of Rhell, using up to 5 of these in whatever combination you please to solve different puzzles. Want to hold down 2 buttons, but you’ve only got yourself? Duplicate yourself and turn your copy into a puddle that permanently holds the switch down. Need a vehicle in a quick fix? Cast Life on a rock and use it as your pet car! Whatever the combination, whatever the solution, the magic is yours to master.
Everyone has vanished except 12 people, leaving behind empty towns and unanswered questions. As Rhell, a sharp-tongued mage, you explore forgotten ruins filled with ancient secrets, decode mysterious fragments left behind by those who came before, and slowly piece together what really caused this catastrophe. The few remaining inhabitants have their theories, but you might find a truth far stranger than anyone suspected. What started as a simple mystery becomes something that challenges everything you thought you knew.
Wander through 9 distinct areas at your own pace - from flooded libraries and underwater cities to volcanic factories and crystal caves. Each location tells its own story through environmental details and hidden lore, along with characters that have their own mysteries to unravel. Some areas connect in unexpected ways, rewarding those who explore thoroughly. The world doesn't just contain puzzles, it is a puzzle - one that reveals more of itself the deeper you dig. Whether you're following the main plot or getting side-tracked by a curious detail, there's always another secret waiting just around the corner.
If you choose to help the people you meet along your journey, you might see Rhell's character develop. Help the lonely characters and watch her soften into someone who genuinely cares. Ignore them entirely and she'll stay the blunt, loud-mouthed mage she started as. With multiple endings to discover, let your curiosity and kindness (or lack thereof) lead you.

MUY MUY RECOMENDABLE SI TE GUSTAN LOS PUZLES O LOS IMSIMS. Lo unico que no me gusta es que no haya opción para español.
A neat puzzle game
Some minor inconveniences (typos galore, repetitive music) should absolutely not keep you from giving this game a change. Seriously, this is one of the most criminally underrated, underappreciated gems of the past few years. The fact that it's the effort of a single solo dev just blows my mind. Totally recommended.
Good game
Fantastic game. 100% after 26 hours, and looking forward to playing some randomized runs. I could write a crazy long review about how everything works so well together, but I don't wanna spoil any of the experience.
I can't write a longer review because a flaming log is attracted to the top of my head.
I don't think I've ever had this much fun with a puzzle game in my life! Rhell is truly something special: an open-ended, non-linear game where you navigate the world using magic runes to make custom spells, solving each problem in any way you can think of. I typically bounce off puzzle games because they often feel arbitrary and prescriptive; I'm not solving a problem so much as discovering the solution someone else set up for me. They're often limited by the constraints of what the developer thought of when creating the puzzle. What's delightful about Rhell is that while most puzzles *do* have an "intended" solution (or at least one suggested by the level design and context) most of the time you'll completely ignore it in favor of some harebrained scheme that emerges spontaneously from the game's huge pile of systemic interactions. To open two battery-powered doors with a single battery, you might use a duplication rune to clone them, create an electrically conductive portal between the two terminals, build an automaton that shifts the battery back and forth between the terminals to alternate the doors, convert a nearby prop to an electrified material and substitute it for one of the batteries, jam the doors open with something, or even just abuse the "area of effect" modifier to create a portal on the other side of the door and bypass the puzzle entirely. Not only are the puzzle rooms themselves open-ended, the world is too; each region can be accessed in several different ways and different directions, so how you might solve any given puzzle depends entirely on where you've been previously and which runes you've collected so far. You could replay the game in a different order, and have completely different solutions to most of the game's puzzles as you come up with weird workarounds to missing runes in your library. I was pretty far into the game before I found the "smoke" and "cast on self" runes, both of which are super helpful in reaching high-up locations, so I had to get clever with portals, bouncing gel, timers, and automatons to navigate the world. A different player might totally miss the "shrink" rune and resort to turning themselves into a puddle to fit through narrow cracks. Even my biggest gripe with the game - the combination of artstyle, control scheme, and camera work can make the world annoying to navigate - still does a good job of supporting the game's strengths, plastering over some of the jankier aspects, and contributing to the tone of slapstick, crackpot creativity. Fans of games with heavy systemic/emergent gameplay cannot afford to miss this one. It really lets you "play your way" unlike anything I've seen before. Brilliant, joyful, can't recommend enough.
Очень хорошая и самобытная головоломка с прекрасным юмором и сложными загадками
fantastic
Rhell is a puzzle game, and your enjoyment will largely depend on how much you like the genre. I enjoy puzzle games to a point, but I start to lose interest when I get stuck and the challenges become overly complex. I went in expecting an adventure with immersive sim elements, but instead found a game focused almost entirely on puzzles. Even so, I was impressed by the freedom it offers. With 40 spells that can be combined in countless ways, the game encourages creative solutions and sometimes even lets you "break" it. That level of experimentation reminded me a lot of the puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. 8 - Very Good.
